wow, so they don't have a liquor licence at all? so you're allowed to byo in?

even westlakes has one ffs (and probably the best range of choices in newcastle football too!) - it really can't be hard to organise a liquor licence, and pay/organise a few people to get their RSA's to sell the grog. i know without the liquor licence in the canteen at rathys, westlakes canteen wouldn't make much money at all. i fail to see why valo wouldn't jump on the opportunity to make so much money.

only other reason they may not have it (and this is assuming you can byo) is the sporties have asked them not to sell grog as apart of their sponsorship so people buy take-aways from there & bring into the ground?

In theory they allow you to take cars in so no reason why you couldn't have an esky full to the brim in the boot. They don't exactly do roadside searches on your car as you are entering the ground like the military would do in a war zone looking for explosives.

The thing about Sporties may be closer to the mark as to the real reason.

So, MFKS's game day packing list include a copy of the FIFA rule book, the NSW liquor act, and frozen oranges filled with vodka.... and a box of tissues.

they don't have a Licence simply because whilst applying the person doing it stuffed up and nobody bothered to fix it, they use the sponsor as a smokescreen, you can take as much alcohol in as you like as long its not in a glass container, its financial suicide not selling coldies.

I think you'll find the player did move but I guess you didn't see that from the boot of your car.

Needless to say only the tissues were required, no time for drinking and reading given his man crush had a great day out.

I had a good view-the player had both arms outstretched away from his side making his body wider-going to be a penalty every time.Fully agreed with the decision.

I was out that way a couple of games a go and there was no one in the stand and a fair few cars so maybe beers in esky in the boot has caught on

Should still be on, it hasn't rained since Friday and been mostly sunny, a light shower this arvo shouldn't do anything to grounds

Lucky the Jaffas v Edgy is not at Arthur Edden it would definitely be off. Probably tyre marks all over the ground.

so now that blues vs olympic and magic youth vs southy have been callled off, is it safe to assume that these fields have poor drainage and tyre marks all over them???

The magic game was called before 1 pm, not sure why, couldn't have been for wet surface as it hadn't rained since Friday, each to their own I suppose, don't want to go out in this weather anyway, the crickets on
