I'd love to see the breakaway hold out, and there are some great riders in the group, I just can't see it happening.

Gap is now 1:25 to the leaders, so the leaders lost 35sec on that lap, still 2 to go till the 50km run to the finish.

I love it, a sprinter who bludges off his own team until the last 200m to take all the glory, has a whinge that another team didn't do enough to help him win.

While O'Grady was in the breakaway, why would Australia help GB pick up the pace? We had more chance of O'Grady going on with it than we did of Goss winning the sprint.

What was the extent of the injury? Didn't look promising.

FAb Cancellara probably would have won if he hadn't of come down when he did. Shame for him top bloke

What was ****ing disgraceful though was Bernie Eisel jumping in the GB train and sitting in front of Cavendish. The poor **** forgot that he wasn't racing with Cavendish and Team SKY but actually against them and should have been doing more to help his Austrian teammates and himself to glory rather than setting up a slipstream for Cavendish as per normal. All Team GB needed was Mick Rogers and Richard Porte to jump in the leadout train and it would have looked like TEAM SKY had bought the ****ing race

What made it even more special is that 10kms out Team Sky sorry team GB had no chance despite Eisels help. Would have been a ****ing up roar if Cav had of won and one of his regular teammates had of appeared to be riding for Cav rather than his own country

Have to admit I thought it was poor form at the time as well.

What happened with Cancellara though, he looked to have that corner nailed and then went straight on. I would have understood if he go up and his front was flat. Can only put it down to rider error I guess.
