How did Sagna not die after that landing? And reportedly only out for a week.

Chamberlain out for six months apparently. Vermaelen and Arteta two more months, Monreal another couple of weeks, Ramsey a week...

70m splurged on Suarez then as a token transfer, ends up playing leftback.

    Latest talk is

    - Cabaye 10mil (rejected by pardew)
    - Michu + Williams 35mil (not sure if this is just rumour)

Newcastle will want some ridic price for Cabaye, prob 25+.

I say we throw 20mil at him (not what he's worth but drastic times etc) and go for Michu + Williams.

    We just need players ffs.

    What's happened to us though?
I still don't know why we didn't sign Cabaye or Sissoko before Newcastle, we didn't even go for them. Sissoko would have been a great signing. Instead we're buying them at the wrong time and paying twice what we would have previously?

Shit why don't we go in for Ba, surely we could get him on the pretty cheap? Decent player to have off the bench. Yes I wish we were going for world class players etc but shit it's getting desperate around here.

Surely we've got enough enough cash and room in the wages to actually have depth, as in get someone in world class as well as giroud as well as another striker like Ba?

    FFAOSIHFA"SFIh`1`ddddddd etc

    The answer is David Dein.

The question is, who is the one person that can save us?

Even as a Spurs supporter I'm beginning to feel sympathy at Arsenal.

What the **** has happened to the club?

Emirates is clearly built on an old graveyard of some sort.

What do you mean what has happened to the club? They've finished 4th or higher every single year since 1997 (what isthat, 16years? What have Sp*rs done in the last 16 years that arse haven't?). Without any instant influx of russian or shiek petrol-dollars coming in.
They aren't in a lifetime of debt and have (I'm pretty sure) the lowest average age squad in the "top 6".
    OK

Yeh what's happened to the club? Apparently our worst team in years and we still finish above the spuds best team in forever, we traveled to Turkey with a threadbare squad and win 3-0 to give ourselves a great chance of being in the Champions League for what, the 16th year running or something?

Whilst we're doing that we've also got minimal debt and a shitload of cash to spend.

Yeh the clubs in a terrible state.

Tbf we aren't conducting ourselves with as much class as we once were. Ambition has slid in favour of profit.

Having said that Wenger is the reason our expectations are so high. We're we're struggling to be a "big four" club before he arrived. Now we demand better.

And baldrik, the season might be only two matches old, but the transfer window has been open for some time.

I'm not frustrated we haven't signed anyone big, I'm just frustrated we haven't kept the players that have become big at the club over the last few years.
