I think time will help him.
His World Cup winner makes him an immortal of the game (Geoff Hurst anyone?). Add to that all of the other trophies and deep down I reakon both Messi and Ronaldo would trade their careers for his.

You are right though he is underrated, but I still talk to people who say Beckham was better than Zidane or that Michael Owen was a better striker than Fat Ronaldo.

Fat Ronaldo would be remembered on par with Maradona and Pele if he never had those knee injuries that initially struck him down. (Well before he got fat even before he scored in the WC Final)

The season he had before he moved to Inter he was out of this world and put more performances in than Messi/CR7 do between them in a year

True story, I met Martin Peters one night at White Hart Lane he actually introduced himself to me as 'the other guy' (he scored in the 1966 final but everyone talks about Geoff Hursts hat trick). A mate asked if he was bummed out about how much money the players get these days etc he just looked at us and said " there's only one other man in the entire history of our country who has done what I've done. I'm quite content with my achievements"
    Dead set legend he was.

Anyone have any luck tonight in the Last Minute Sales ??

As for me it was a turkey shoot!!!!

Got in after about 4 mins so was able to pick up all I wanted bar 1 game.

Got plenty of KnockOut games but couldn't manage the simple task of picking up a Belgium V Sth Korea ticket FFS

Looks like I have now sourced 11of 12 games i am planning on attending!!!

    SWEET

    There is.

Have some trades organised where I purchase excess tickets off others.

Also the whole thing is a joke with the abilty to manipulate it anyway.

Anyone who got delivery option should have put applications in anyones name who would wear the temp credit card bill before you could fix it up and will hand them over once they get sent out in May

Add in the ability to buy 4 tickets to a match when you can easily put down your mum dad brother wife mate etc name even if they ain't going.

The rorting involved is mind blowing. Good news is it stops when people reach their targeted games

In case you missed it yesterday about 4pm Newy time Fifa released a batch of tickets.

All the good shit went quick obviously.

Had apparently Rio QF >> Rio Rd 16 >> Aus V Chile>> Other 2nd Rd and QF Knockout games >> Other random group games

I have been monitoring the FIFA site every arvo and night this week and you will never guess which day I didn't ???

Strange to do it at that time as it wasn't really suitable for Europeans/Sth Americans/Nth Americans etc as most would have been in bed.

Anyway on the Big Soccer forum in the WC Tickets and Travel Sub Forum their is a thread called Scorpyn's Scanner. You will probably find the link to download the program/app about 10-15 pages back from where the thread is at now!!!

Basically the thing gets hooked up to your FIFA account and it constantly scans the games for availability and if it finds the game will play an alert sound and tries to put it in your basket. You will then have your 15 mins to pay for it and complete the FIFA info you have to fill out if you don't it pops out of your basket for someone else to pick up

Now obviously many people have this so exactly how it works for the high demand games such as Final Semis Opening game Uruguay V England etc is a bit of a mystery as the amount trying to put them in the basket will obviously be above supply from FIFA. Obviously may not get lucky but should work a hell of a lot better if you are after games with less demand.

Thing can be set up to run in the background of your PC and will give you the alert at whatever time of day tickets become available. So in theory you could be alerted at 3 in the morning and then you would have 15 mins to wake up and complete transaction.

Basically you can have the thing running any hour of the day that you are home an in a position to access your PC

Thing runs off Windows so wouldn't have a clue how it goes on those inferior Macs

One other thing with it is it well come up as a suspicious file with your anti virus programs. You will need to allow it.

I have been running it for the last week ort so without incident

    Thanks.

    Not really.

Problem is every other bugger always decides to factor in a few days break for themselves around Anzac Day every year so i always get stuck going to work.

Last 2 years I was meant to have the day off with plans for the evening and some one has bailed and the boss rang us in the morning and I had to work in the evening which meant both years never got to see anyone on my birthday and done nothing. Being that I am the boss now I just rostered myself on this morning and then rostered the most reliable staff member to relieve me.

Problem solved and now I have the night off!!!!!

When I went to Peru in 2012 our travel agent set us up with a Cash Passport:

    http://www.cashpassport.com.au/

It was so easy to use & worked anywhere I needed it to.

I wasn't wised up enough to research conversion rates etc so I have no idea if it's the best money-wise option. But in terms of ease of use, it was perfect.

Use your credit card where possible. Just take more precaution and never let it out of your sight

You will get much better exchange rates with the CC

That is just a ploy to con the masses with its ease of use and negates the fact you lose a lot of money with its use

That thing you plugged WLG is basically a con to the masses. The fees involved in it are obscene. Cost to load Cost to convert currency etc. You would be better off getting cash out on the CC and fixing it up that night with Internet banking!!!

Not that I am encouraging the use of cash out on CC

Most of my cash transactions will be with the Visa Debit Card from the Greater BS. With it I have no ATM withdrawal fees around the world unless there is a fee for use like a Rediteller

Just have to pay the foreign currency conversion transaction fee each time. Reality is I am planning to use cash as little as possible.

Talking 2 of these Plus 2 CC

Will be planning on using my CC with a small limit of $2000 to cut down on any possible Credit Card Fraud Issues as often as possible and then Internet banking to level it up each couple of days.

My money will be stuck in a passbook account I will be able to access via Internet Banking so that should also cut down on any fund theft issues if someone was to get hold of my debit cards
