I wouldn't say I demanded it but I thought it was a good idea giving leaving players a lap at their last game, if it was already known they were leaving. Anyone that isn't resigned in the off-season, or moves on after that final game doesn't get one, simple as that. That's a pretty decent statement of intent there. Current (or maybe fringe) Republic of Ireland striker, decent quality at Championship level and a few seasons in the EPL. And he is only 28. Not exactly the name to put bums on seats but if he scores goals, that will be a big pick up.
