Didnt see all the game I did see mayfield score early and we scored a oggie but didn't see our goals but from wot I did see it seemed a pretty even game

    Firsts
    Mayfield 2 - kurri 4
What a tough day for us having to play around 86 minutes with 10 men after a player being sent was pretty harsh from the ref considering he let a lot worse go for the rest of the game he was very card happy but in the end we dug deep and got the result even with 10 men we still played very well to hold mayfield out our keeper once again saved us big time having to face 2 penalties saving one of them and did enough to make old mate blast the second over the bar

    Any other results

2 impressive performances from kurri and simba on weekend. For kurri to get a win up after going down to 10 men is impressive.

Simba surely are favourites now for minor premiership and promotion. If they are on, Im not sure anyone can match them.

Anyone one of the top 4 really can still win it still heaps of games to be played our scores from the weekend haven't been updated yet but Simba have played a game more then us and cooks hill I think and are only 6 points ahead so that gap can be closed
It only takes a few slip ups look at cooks hill they hadn't been beaten and were going really well but have a few bad games lately and the gap was closed
Simba are a very strong side though and probably deserve to be at the top at the moment

Gotta agree, when they are on, Simba are on fire and hard to beat for sure. The problem is they can score from anywhere at anytime, so dangerous.

Mayfield were again slow out of the blocks and went behind early. Unfortunately, the RAAF looked like running away with it before half time.

Mayfield came out of the half time break full of steam and pulled one back before RAAF got another goal on the counter.

A couple of quick goals to mayfield made for an interesting final 20 minutes with a goal to Mayfield in the last 5 minutes securing an important point to mayfield.

Although it was good to have an official and I know it is always a cop out blaming the ref for some poor decisions but mayfield were On the wrong side of some very poor decisions!!

Good hard game played by both teams, hopefully with Mayfield getting a point there are some good results to come!!

That would be a first in a long time. I'm sure normal services from refs will resume once mayfield are back on home soil.

I have found the standard of refereeing very good so far this year, no complaints. The referee for the weekends game (kurri v dudley) was very good. Tough game, handled all situations well.
Simba would have been the happiest team of the weekend, As teams 2,3,4 had draws with the bottom half.

Totally agree with ya there Simba would be cheering about the last round and that round could cost all other teams chances at winning the minor premiership
But as I have said all along still heaps of games and its rounds like last weekend that show all teams can compete and frustrate any team on there day and it could be any team in that top 4 come the seasons end

There may be some games to go, But now is the time for the bottom teams to make a move if they want to play semi final football. Draws wont help that much.

    Dudley V Tenambit
    Res 0-4 Tenambit

    First
    2-3 Tenambit
This game had it all good goals a keeping howler ( i couldn't find a hole big enough to hide in.) and even calls for goal line technology. But pleased with the boys efforts to come back from 2 down and claim yhe 3 points.

Dissapointing result from dudleys point of view. The match against kurri took a fair bit out of the team and it showed, missing 10 players didnt help. But credit to tenambit, they played well.

It could easily been a different result if tenambits 2nd goal wasnt given. Players from both sides said the ball didnt cross line, unfortuneatly the linesman seen it different. Tenambit 3rd goal was also very dodgey, keeper taken out. Too late to whinge now.

    Res- Kurri 0 - raaf - 0
    1st- Kurri 0 - raaf - 3
    Piss pore performance from Kurri
Same old story not taking our chances,
Raaf when given a sniff will always take the
Edge, credit 2 em they just wanted it more
Loved the beautiful weather down there
Don't get me wrong, they are worthy of
Sticking it to all teams in zfl3,but wen ya walk of the
Park with no amenities to have a tub
Soakn wet n cold, might be worth looking else
    Where to play.
