What the **** is going on?

Is the answer as simple as this thread... http://www.newcastlefootball.net/for...1-Grimario-OUT

First ever off season I have been out of Newcastle?

Anyone else see the coincidence that Jeronimo has signed for the Jets?

Can't wait till he pulls off a lovely piece of gamesmanship, everyone cheers as we score and then peeps have a whinge later when they get home. Meanwhile points are gained and griff knocks one in from the spot. Awwwwww yeahhhhhhh. About time we had someone with the ability and know how to make it clear to the referee that they've been fouled, just like the brilliance that is Arjen

Don't get me wrong, happy if he's going to engage in gamesmanship that it's to our benefit.

ADP does it, the commentators fap over him for doing it, so it must be legit. Its the sign of a quality player that sucks in the opposition.

Exactly. ADP doing it was a disgrace and was everything thats wrong with the game. Jerro and Griffo make it an art form that should be celebrated

Just on Arjen - I'm pretty sure through the World Cup that every "dive" he was actually fouled - even if only slightly. Credit where it is due, I don't personally call that diving.

Exactly. That is letting the referee know he's been fouled. Why should people get away with small fouls that the referee might miss?

Jeronimo is a player I really rate. He can score and create. Hopefully he does well for us

Have heard similar reports, box to box midfielder dominating nsw premier league.

Might end up cup tied though.

Would much rather the club give a young bloke a chance than give another journeyman a contract.

kearyn baccus has never lived up to the hype surrounding him
France, Italy, Sydney FC, Perth Glory - he's always been the next big thing and never produced when facing quality opposition.

    Kale Bradbury mk2.

    Pass.

If Baressi's contract is registered as a full time youth contract, which I believe we had 1 left, then that would free up an extra HAL squad position

A bit like MCFC signing Villa, until the contract is registered with the FFA you don't know what squad role they have taken

I'm led to believe only Ox, Cooper & Lundy are on NYL contracts.
    OK

    Dont think thats correct.
Solari/lundy are def on NYL contracts.

Then we must have 3 u21 players on senior contracts.
That leaves hoole, ox, cooper, baressi.

Not sure how you could move a player from a senior to nyl contact when min senior is like 10k more than max nyl.

Is that 3 u21 senior contract thing legit? Don't Sydney FC only have one?
    OK
