well, I did end up with King Richard's hat, so yes
I won't claim naming rights to the field though

Talk around Wanderers Oval / Magic Park / Newcastle Macedonia Football Club / NMFC yesterday, there maybe two new players in ID3 next year. , should be good for the competition.
given it was a six team comp this time I'd say everyone is keen on the idea of two new teams coming in
No report from stockton's games shark attack???
Bit of a shock result for them , need big turn around this weekend!
Stocko was slightly on top for 1st 30 mins then Simba took over. Simba played stocko off the park in the 2nd half and had many opportunities. Was surprised Simba finished below on the table. The bigger field at uni allowed Sim to exploit fitness and pace coupled with a decent passing game.
hi guys sorry for the late responce
what a *ucked up day from scratch , arrived at zimba at 12.15pm by 12.40pm no nets , no dressing sheds open , no lines marked on the field , grass around a foot deep and still no zimba ???? now 12.45pm , between uni and stockton and russel henry we had no choice but to transfer to ray watt 2. by the time we got to ray watt it was around 1.00pm with 1.30pm kick off for resies , the 1/2 hour we had to warm up was spent on getting the field ready to play on ( being stocktons home and no zimba ) thanks to some of the uni guys who help and also trying to get hold of our supporters , sponsors , families and friends which many missed there sons playing in there 1st senior final. due to the zpl on rw1 we had no use the dressing sheds and had to get changed behind the goal mouth , my appologies to the zpl games on rw1 we had no choice and on stocktons behalf we didnt want play at rw2 but had no choice thanks to zimba. 22 of our guys are between 18 and 23 and being in there 1st final for most of them should off been all they were thinking about not the shit they had to go through , uni was always going to be a big ask for and take nothing from them they deserved there win and won well , 1st grade same as our resies all week working on came plans to suit the size of zimbas home ground ( very small ) which all went out the door once we were tranfered to rw2 , take nothing away from zimba ( except they *ucked big time ) but they played the best if seen them play , 3 key injuries to us around half time didnt help , second leg will be at coroba oval , i know the boys from stockton are ready to go and wont hold back wondering what if.
Cooks Hill United Reserve grade made it to the grand final today with a 2-0 win
Any results???
Simba thru on away goals rule. Game finished 3-1 to Stockton and 3-3 on aggregate. Away goal puts Simba through.
Simba played with 10 men for 75 minutes after the striker was sent off for striking. Oh the irony.
Was a keenly contested game with both teams giving it there all. The referee had a great game, very consistent and fair to both teams. Send off was clear and spot on.
RES : Dungog 0 - Cooks Hill 2 (Agg: Dungog 0 - cooks hill 2) cooks hill advanced to GF
FIRSTS: Dungog 2 - Uni 2 (Agg: Dungog 2 - Uni 2) Dungog through on away goal rule.
Firsts- Both teams had plenty of chances in the first half, But Dungog grabbed a goal approx 10 mins in to the game.
Most of the first half Dungog just looked to have the hunger to win and were withstanding Uni's attack well.
Second half, Similar but with Uni starting the stronger, just not creating clear chances in the final third. Dungog started creating quite a few 1v1's midway through the half, with Unis's keeper doing well on many occasions! Dungog grabbed a second with approx 15-20 left (from a keeper error). Dungog seemed to ease off a bit after that and It was then that Uni started pressing hard in search of a goal, getting one with just under 10 remaining and soon had another with minutes remaining. Dungog re-grouped and held out well for the final 10 mins (7 mins injury time!).
Congratulations to Uni on promotion to ZL2, Well done Dungog to reach the GF and i must say to both teams on a very very entertaining game Saturday!!!

yewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Cheers to the Uni fella's for another awesome tough game, we've had a few pretty tight match-ups!
Bring on simba on saturday, will only be the second time we've played them this season. Keen.
Not much talk in here.! Anyone willing to have a stab at the result for the Grand Final on Saturday, Dungog v Simba???
Only played each other once this year (3-3).
Me thinks there are no Simba reps on the foz.
Any blokes from the other teams, Uni, Stocko, Cookers etc going to come along to the game?
hi guys couldnt say anything but the grand final for zone league 3 , here it is
stockton v dungog , yes stockton v dungog this is no joke.
Sounds like a bit of sour grapes?
Don't know why you would have a problem with us (Dungog) being in the Final, we made it fair and square.
Last 5 games against Uni has resulted in 3 draws and a win, not bad against the Premieres if you ask me mate...
who mentioned anything about dungog read the quote stockton v dungog , zimba outed due to cheating which has been going on for along time , we could only get evidence correct last week after we told them on sunday at coroba oval that they couldnt play up to 3 guys because they are registered with other clubs and played guys under different names , so after telling them that they still went ahead and played them so what are we supposed to do sit there take it im sure you guys wouldnt of copped it and beyond that i feel for cookers who should off been playing in the final series but we just couldnt prove anything back then.
can confirm that Stockton v Dungog is on sportingpulse

nothing official released to club email accounts, well not to Cooks Hill ZFL account anyway
huge news
on top of the semi final snafu that saw the game moved this is not a good look for Simba
