West Wallsend FC have today announced the appointment of Gary Rowe to the position of Head Coach for 2015.

An ex player at the club and previous coach along with a long history of family involvement with the club Gary's return is fitting with the clubs philosophy of rebuilding as a community focused football club. He brings with him to the club a new level of knowledge, NPL experience and an organisational skill set as well as an increased level of expectations of the clubs potential for next season.

Gary's assistant will be Lucas Olney, an experienced keeper in his own right who has worked along side Gary previously Lucas will also act as the clubs goalkeeping coach and be a vital role in developing the clubs training culture.

Our club , Dudley Redhead ufc (juniors) have put a proposal to association for id4's for season 2015.

Division to be a single grade competition and cater for all clubs in id2's and id3's that want a third team or grade. Where possible id4's would be played before id3's. Other division clubs could also be considered to enter competition.Clubs could get any affiliated all age teams to play as this team.

Benefits could include increasing numbers and depth. Word is that there is 4-5 clubs interested in competition. Our guys also think the odd friday night fixture could work when id2's or id3's home and away games dont match up, As these games will be single game fixtures. This would be great for guys that play id2 or id3's that have weekends of work or a wedding. They could get a game whilst still making other commitments.

Any suggestions or is any clubs keen?

Newfm league has had its problems over the last few years. NNSW has stuffed this grade and clubs around and that hasnt helped.

By adding 2 teams to the competition do they believe that will solve all issues? I think not

Solution is simple, keep New fm league 8 teams. Get rid of under 23's and make it reserve grade (do the same in nbn league), basically if your good enough your old enough. Make New fm promotion and relegation, starting straight away. Cooks hill deserve promotion, stronger club then many in New fm.

Id leagues shouldnt be changed dramatically to fix New fm league. Our club is a new club in Id3's. The last thing we want is no id3 competition and more team put in to making bigger competitions in id1's or id2's. How are we and other new teams that wish to come in to id's going to develop and grow in bigger stronger competitions?

    JESMOND FC, 2015

After a successful first season in ZL1 having made the 2014 GF, Jesmond FC would like to welcome some new blood. We have a friendly and welcoming culture in which blokes hardly ever leave.

Firstly in the coaching ranks we’re looking to add at least one. Whichever grade as can jig what we’ve got to suit.

Re: players - we learned from 2014 that we didn’t sign enough for 3 grades. This fact together with a few lower graded players presumably retiring or moving on means we could do with a few more.

Please contact Mick (2014 1st grade Coach) on 0412 449 33 or Luke (President) on 0431 331 889 by phone or text, or PM this account.
