    for the historians out there...

If Magic beat Jaffas this weekend and then Jaffas beat the winner of weston v hamilton in the final... then Jobe will be eligible for the GF because it will be their 3rd game after the red... If Jaffas beat magic this weekend and go straight to GF then jobe is ineligible because of his suspended week added to his automatic 1... And if the fed rescind his suspended week suspension so he can play in the GF... Then i'm sure there will be a riot from the other 9 clubs in front of the NNSWF office on monday morning after the GF.

Only yellow cards start again it doesn't reset his red cards. I thought he woulg be out 3 games. That is his 2nd red card for the year which is an automatic 2 match suspension plus he has the 1 match from his suspended match that got rescinded. Doesn't that make 3 ?

    Answer this question.
Would you go and support a club you have played against all year if they were in another comp?

    Correct,
When a game suspension is suspended it counts for the normal season only.
We had exactly the same situation 2 years ago. Cards are for regular season only.
Jobe will be available after next weeks game, so he will be eligible for GF or for the next semi

You only get 2 games if its a second straight red.
2 yellows are only 1 game automatic.
Also ALL CARDS are reset for finals series as it is not part of the regular season.

I was told that Wilson called the ref a ****n Cheating C&%t

Red cards are not reset, second send off for the season, 2 weeks plus a 1 week suspended sentence from his last send off now becomes activated which equals 3 weeks

Another busy day for the area, not sure what the traffic was like last sunday with Jaffas and knights at same time, but this week we have Magic v Jaffas at Wanderers, Wests v Scorps ( for minor premiership ) at Harker and SYL Grand Final at Lambton all kicking off same time.

Wanderers'll be fine, but Edden Oval and Harker will be packed. We parked at Lambton pool to get to Edden Oval.

Jaffas got to take their first penalty 3 times because twice Swancott moved off his line before the Jaffas player had kicked it and saved the pen. Both correct calls by the assistant. Ireland saved the crucial penalty to send the Jaffas to Wanderers next week.

Not wishing to start a ruckus but was Swancott booked for the leaving the line early aspect??

Considering it happened twice one would assume he got at least 1 card.

Not 100% on it but isn't the leaving the penalty line early for keeper an automatic yellow???

No, but twice in a row they could possibly give you one for persistently infringing in the laws of the game or unsporting behaviour?

    I'm sure outsider will know

Agree with backstick. Depends on the opinion of the referee, first time was probably "every keeper does it but he got caught one", 2nd one was probably his last chance, had he jumped early again (which he did) and saved it, you would have to imagine he would have been, then the fourth time was probably another yellow.

re: the crowd at Edden, we were probably lucky that it did go to ET and pens so it gave time for some of the thugby fans to leave the area.

Wasnt at the game but I would think that it would be a harsh card in the situation. And we know that referees have feelings.
