This Adelaide kit is a shambles.

Why are there no clean vertical stripes paying homage to traditional football kits? Are Adelaide even a traditional football club??

A minimalist approach with 3 vertical stripes down the front of the Adelaide jersey would have been much more tasteful than this RED monstrosity.

The kit doesn't even take inspiration from the club logo. Put some stars or swirls on the chest.

Viva are an Adelaide based company - they should have the Adelaide United contract!!

I know it's bland, but I think it's fine.

White shows up the dirt too much. That kind of textured cream-beige hides it better, but it's still a light colour, which brightens up the room. You don't want a dark or bright-coloured carpet.

Can't tell the difference really. There's looks like trash, so does ours. They have the advantage of only needing to wear their's once whereas we have entire season of blue and Red stripes or a ****ing Miss Newcastle sash.

I've asked that before, unfortunately mate. Lawrie regularly references that jersey add the reason why we wouldn't go back to gold despite me protesting it was because it wasn't gold - more baby shit brown. We won't ever agree on that issue.

Deceased Member Tribute - Round 3
To mark the start of a new season the Newcastle Jets would like to recognise and celebrate the lives of Members who have passed away in the previous year at the first home game.

The tribute will involve a minutes applause as photos are displayed on the big screen and family of the deceased Member forming a guard of honour as players enter the field.

If you have a family member who has passed away in the past 18 months and would like to be involved, please let us know the following details.

Full name
Date of birth and date of death
Membership number and number of years they were a member/fan of the Jets (we can look up these details if you are unsure).

Please send this information and a photo in an email with the subject 'Member Tribute' to membership@newcastlejets.com.au. All details will be double checked with you before game day.

Personal preference for everything imo.
I think these are the most out of the ordinary kits we have had for years.
I’m a fan of simple. I really like the pinstripe and the gold/navy combo.
I’d defs be considering buying one. May be worth some money one day as the last kit that the Jets wore. Or even if we release it. Then new owners come and change us back to our original novocastrian colours of knights red and royal blue.

While we are in the A league, I think we should acknowledge our A league roots and Gold should be our home.
Then, I’m happy to acknowledge our history of KB with E and C, but also our Breakers history with red and blue.
Our 3 kits should be based on this.

Between those 3, we should be able to have a neutral gold (Clash with CCM, Phoenix), a dark(navy/red) kit (clash with victory, Perth) and a white/E/C kit ( MacArthur, maybe clash with sky blue of city and Sydney if you’re picky). Have a pair of blue/navy, gold and white socks. Alternate as needed. Nobody cares about shorts anymore.
