Lake Macquarie having been doing this for years not letting supporters into the sheds after the game especially when they lose, I remember it happening when Wallsend smashed them in a semi a couple of years ago and they brought their song outside. NNSW are well aware of Lakes ridiocolous rule which incites opposition supporters when there not allowed in.
I just watched a video of all Olympics supporters in an away shed singing the team song at NNSW's pet club. NNSW have to tell Lake Macquaries castapo to pull their heads in, once the referees and players have passed thru then they should allow supporters to stream thru and if they want guard the home and referee access doors or this will continue to happen, not that I am condoning some Edgeworth goose going on like a pork chop i hope his children didnt get to see all the going ons.
I think Cardiff had to sing the song outside when they beat them in FFA cup. No excuse to carry on like a clown, like I say, will be interesting to see what becomes of it, we had a bloke banned for two weeks for a minor indiscretion, lets see what NNSW hand out to Edgeworth, AND Magic for that matter.
Cardiff got told by the duty officers that only the people on the team sheet could enter the change rooms.
Serious question why would Lakes stop people entering the sheds? Some of my best football memories have been singing the victory song with friends, family, old boys, etc in the sheds (home or away) singing along.
Do Lakes have an Old Boys day, and if they win tell Danny Burt he can't come into the sheds to sing with them? I highly doubt it.

Ruben & Magic should be embarrassed. And I have zero idea how/why the refs & federation, let alone the police, aren't taking it further. Which funnily enough, am I right in saying the guy Ruben pushed IS a police officer?

I genuinely see little to no difference between what Ruben did, and what Calombaris did.
I think the difference is that the Columbaris issue was initiated by the victim who went to the police the following day to press charges. On the actual night, and the footage shows this, the incident was witnessed by security/police nearby who spoke to George straight away but did nothing more other than moving him on. They mustn't have thought much of it similar to what the referee and NNSWF made of this event. Now the alledged victim has gone to the police to press charges and it will be on him to prove that George committed an offence.Quote:

Fair call. Don't get me wrong, certainly not making excuses or trying to explain the lack of response from the fed but the previous comments comparing it to the Columbaris issue and lack of Police input in this local issue I would imagine is the result of no complaint being lodged by the victim with Police. As I said, nothing was going to happen to George till the victim went to the police after the fact leading to the investigation and court appearance to establish the facts. George may yet be cleared of any wrong doing... though let's hope not because assault is never excusable, nor is verbal abuse but at the end of the day sticks and stones and all that.Quote:

I think you're missing the point of the last few posts. It was in response to people saying that "the sheds is no place for kids and especially young girls" comment. I think someone at the Herald needs to research a little better. MVP votes are no longer cast by the Referees. They are voted on by the coaches of the opposing team. Pretty sure that was the new rule for this season. Can anyone confirm?
