As usual , they want a club to be the bad guy (Olympic ) and put in a for a formal complaint before they will take any action. Everyone can see what took place and as the governing body, it is Northern's responsibility to deal with this matter
Fair call. Don't get me wrong, certainly not making excuses or trying to explain the lack of response from the fed but the previous comments comparing it to the Columbaris issue and lack of Police input in this local issue I would imagine is the result of no complaint being lodged by the victim with Police. As I said, nothing was going to happen to George till the victim went to the police after the fact leading to the investigation and court appearance to establish the facts. George may yet be cleared of any wrong doing... though let's hope not because assault is never excusable, nor is verbal abuse but at the end of the day sticks and stones and all that.

My question about Ruben being provoked was just an inquiry from anyone present who might have heard or saw what the vision from BarTV does not show. That is to say, did anything happened as Ruben approached the match officials? Seems odd for someone to just walk up and shove a guy out of the blue. Could easily have escalated into a situation like we've heard about at Lakes, not something that should be ignored.

Perhaps the lack of response from Olympic officially may indicate either they didn't think it was serious or their player may have had some part to play in escalating to the point where Ruben shoves him? But, as I wasn't there, I can only go off the footage.
