How many times someone appears on Fox should not be a determining factor in the appointment, nor should it be based upon how well they speak on the Tele.

Mori has done well in SA, but again he is with a big fish in a small pond.

We're basically starting from scratch so someone like Miron Bleiberg wouldn't be a bad option, as he has set up clubs from scratch in the past and is possibly on shakey ground at Oakleigh in the VPL.
So there are 3 other coaches who are better in NSW prem. Yeah, get rudan, ffs

Mori would poison his opponents for a win, maybe

Well I originally voted for Milicic but it looks very unlikely that he will leave his assistant Socceroo position under Ange at this stage.

I think time is of the essence now and hopefully a decision is made by the end of this week. Then we can get onto the next important stage of signing new players.

the awesome part about the stubbins/tinkler saga is that there is absolutely **** all expectation from the general community. you can't do worse than what we did last season. a less extreme example of this lack of expectation is the fergie/moyes/van gaal transition. moyes wasn't that shit of a manager but because he was coming after literally the best of all time he got crucified. LVG comes in with the fans thinking 'pls top 4 will do' and he's sorted, people love him. this lack of expectation means there's a pretty good chance for the club to take a slight gamble on an 'unproven' because there's no way you're doing as worse as phil '7-0' stubbins.

    Head coaches

    Ian Crook (2001–04)
    Richard Money (1 January 2005 – 31 December 2005)
    Nick Theodorakopoulos (2006)
    Gary van Egmond (2006–09)
    Branko Čulina (1 January 2009 – 4 October 2011)
    Craig Deans (interim) (3 October 2011 – 20 October 2011)
    Gary van Egmond (20 October 2011 – 20 January 2014)
    Clayton Zane (interim) (20 January 2014 – 5 May 2014)
    Phil Stubbins (5 May 2014 - 26 May 2015)
Shouldnt be hard for the next coach to improve on this lot. Stabbins was here for a 13 months, felt like 3yrs.

What about the bloke the Roar just rissoled?
Didn't he go reluctantly and actually want to stay in Oz and coach?
Seems as qualified (if not more) than some of the Pelicans we're talking to.

Does anyone know what Frans record was at Brisbane? Seemed like a quality coach, especially in comparison to rudan
