Not really Miller was both praised and criticized when warranted. He did alot of good things but he's not the best weve ever had. And of Jones's signings weve only seen Johnny who looks good and a tiny bit of Sawyer where its too early to tell. Jones also gets the same praise and criticism when warranted

I can be deluded at times. But you had a quality no.10 in Leonardo. No matter how many people bagged him. Triff showed much more then Kokko. Leaky G, Biraz. Its much the same squad. Maybe one or two improvements.
On the flip side Jones had a horror run with long term injuries to first team players. Much more then what Miller experienced.
Accept it. Miller's squad was mid to low table. At this stage I'd say Jone's is much of the same.

I thought jones was copping more than enough until we turned the corner with the away win at Perth. I agree he isn't the perfect fit( some subs are highly questionable, playing Mullen at rb, kokko situation) but I'm not gonna stay bitter about Scott getting sacked and taking it out on a bloke who finally has us playing something good that will produce success if the defence can be sorted out. By defence I also include dm's in that.

So lets see where we end up on that table at seasons end. Out of the 8 games left we have 2 games against CCM, 1 against Adelaide and 1 against the Nix so there should be no excuses not to finish the season strongly. By your logic the squads are similar in quality so equalling last years points tally should be easy.
My tip.......we lose to Victory this week and the pressure starts to mount with the CCM looking like they are becoming stronger. It could go either way. If Jones can get the side firing and into the finals then I will tip my hat to him. If Lawrie can sign anyone decent who stays longer than 2 weeks then I will tip my hat to him as well.
I have been a Jets supporter since day 1 and would rather my team was back in the finals. I don't see it with the current setup but time will tell.
