Anyone know if there is going to be an announcement of the new coach today? Isnt today the last day before the players break up and when they were aiming for an announcement.

I wondered given this is Grand Final week whether any announcement would be delayed?

I would suggest club would be informed today and formal announcement delayed until Monday.

You really need to check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Many times has people found out first then the clubs made a FORMAL announcement a few days later. Chill the **** out. We are saying the same thing.

I think thats the case, because from early on there were well backed sauces saying Merrick was offered the job.

I don't know about others, but I'm just done with this season. I need a break from them. Because we aren't signing people I feel a sense of apathy towards "it all" at the moment.

He's probably in Adelaide recruiting state league players for the Jets 2017/2018 season.

Whoever is the new coach should get Ned Zelic to come in and mentor some of the players/squad. He has great passion for the game and maybe he can get the players to show this on the pitch. The guy just oozes enthusiasm for the game. Make it happen Martin Lee !
