Come back in 2025 when it’s relevant then.

We need to qualify for one first. Until then, what is the point?

Didn't see Topor, Boogs nailed some headers, Roy had some beautiful touches, Ronny did laps and made chicks swoon.

happy if we kept cowbie, hoff, kosta, pato and vargas.

other ones can go, would also like to see brown and jackson moved on if possible but don't see it happening.

We can only hope Boogaard gets the arse

Can tell the bloke is a Gypo as he should be kicking doors down to get a new deal but he seems to not give two ****s where he plays next year

The question though has to be asked how Cowburn is getting a new gig??
Can understand Hoff getting a new gig as he going well but Cowburn cant get in the team let alone the ****ing bench

So why the **** do we want to sign him for ??

surely we're setting jackson up to be the replacement for topor or boogs, whichever one leaves first.

Perhaps Cowby is getting close to being in similar position to Kanta ie salary cap concession.

Just as a side note and a quick one.My young bloke said he read somewhere the Rolls might be listed in this Fridays squad ?. Is he taking the piss out of me or what ?

I reckon Merrick sees Cowburn as an option within the next season or two otherwise he wouldn't have re-signed him. Not sure what he sees in Jackson though...

There was a rumour on facebook about him being in this week's squad which I can't believe.

And next year will be the 5th season Nick has been in the A-League.

Whether Cowburn is up for a cap concession is irrelevant

You set a standard and if he good enough he gets a new contract
    If he not he doesn't

    This isn't a ****ing charity

4 years and still has at no stage looked like being a starter
How long we giving him to make it ??

We been in an Abyss for years by making these type of short sighted decisions ie Resigning Kanta and BK whern they didn't deserve it and other assorted shit cunce for little valid reason

    Let's not repeat past mistakes

Cowburn was on the fringe of the team before he was taken out at training by Devante Clut. He'd have played at right back or CM during the peak of the injury crisis. We were crying out for a player like him. He recovered in time to go overseas with the U23s.

He's good for a 1 year contract and I reckon we will be having a similar conversation about him next season as we have Kanta this year. The club are clearly taking the same approach as they did with Kanta.

    Agree.

But if he wants to stick around he's got to see more game time next year.

I've seen enough of jackson at CB to believe that he is good enough. i reckon pair him with (preferably) topor for the two or three years and then when topor moves on, we've got a ready made replacement who knows how we play.
