    ALM 22/23 Finals

I love that we get to watch Goodwin play in Australia, but how has he not been picked up by an overseas team?

He wasn't that successful overseas to start with. A couple of years at Sparta in Holland and the odd year in the Gulf. His record in Australia is very good, probably on decent money at Adelaide.

Great piece of business by our club getting this bloke in then punting him for Aqualina. Whoever was the mastermind for that one should not be allowed anywhere near an A League club.

    Disagree

The guy can't defend at all

I got no problem letting him go

And the bloke who came in was so much better eh ?. particularly in the match against the scum. Pretty sure Aqualina is still standing on the byline at the southern end with his head spinning to this day wondering what just happened.

McGarry is twice the player Aqualina is and ever will be. You have seen enough of both of them to know that.

Why are you comparing a RB to a LB? Natta and Ingham replaced McGarry and are both better players. Aquilina was brought in to replace Elsey after Jenkinson was moved to CB.

Nice blow up tho, very enjoyable.

Aquilina only played near the end of the season.
McGarry was benched, and then let go, to play Ingham or Hoffman.
Since there is no technical explanation for that, it would be interesting to see what really happened.

I didn't see the point of signing Aquilina, we already had 3 players that could have played right back.

Stupidity of the new format - Scum should at least have played against City first in a major semi, looks like both them and Smurfs could actually get into the final with one good result.

How the **** will it be based on one good result??

Smurfs will have to beat the best team in the comp away from home and the Gypos have beaten Adelaide away already so if they don't get beat this weekend go through

I struggle to understand how either team won't deserve to be in the GF if they get through
