we need a proper no 10, which he is.
we need one who will play most or all of the season, which he wont.

    Nicky Carle anyone?

If Arnold brings Clarke, maybe the players will finally have the sort of preseason which won't see us break down in injuries.

If Flores comes to town, I am not disappointed.

Given Farina has been sacked, Carle won't be leaving sydney, he will play/train to get his spot back.

I agree with you, but you never know about Carle. He might push because he would get in the team. I'm willing to give Flores a go. I posted the photos of him the other week so it's no surprise.

Good news about Arnold. Thanks fro the info gents

Would love Flores to come to us. Excluding his time as a false 9 (aka out of position) at MV, he has raped this league.
    OK

I'm gonna sit on the fence with this one until about round 10 next season.
On his day is one of the best am's in a league history but then there is the injury he is still recovering from and some of the onfield theatrics (but they go hand in hand with most South Americans).
He is a player I think Arnold has unfinished business with plus we would be one of few options for Flores.

To be fair, we've had very very few soft tissue injuries this season.
Lowest in the league I think.

Not sure it was Dodd though. I went to a training session for work and one of their staff (not Karl) presented some of the soft tissue injury prevention stuff they are doing.

You didn't happen to notice the pitch we played on every second week? Knee injuries to me (admittedly completely uneducated in anything medical) seem to have more to do with bad fields and bad luck than strength and conditioning training.

    exactly.
Neville twisted in the pitch at AAMI,
Heskey collected in tackle from Victory thug.

lowest soft tissue injury rate in the league says someone somewhere was getting something right.

^ Bargain if he plays like he has been for the past few years. Best player in the league.

Can confirm that on the night we played Adelaide, Retro and family parked in front of Cafe de Beaumont at around 6pm to grab quick pre game pizza at Crust over the road.
As I parked, a face grabbed my attention which given the nights opposition, didn't surprise me: Tarek Elric...then I saw Flores, Stuey + some other bloke I couldn't identify.
A 4 of them together having a coffee? before the game. Anyway, there it is. The bloke has been sighted being cosy in Newie fairly recently.
(Front2 can confirm from a text I sent him on the night)

EDIT:- Backing up where they were before Jeterpool's photo.
The unknown bloke I saw could have been that bloke to Tarek's left...but going by that photo he could also be mistaken for Jimmy Catlin, but I haven't bumped into Jimmy for quite a while now.

PS 10:20pm & Jeterpool getting real anxious about now. See you in the Liverpool thread mate
