Kuwait look like they could nick a goal and get back into it.

Too much watching of the jets expecting it to inevitably happen

    a) too many Gypos.
    b) Josh Brilliante can't make this team.
    c) I'd still rather have Harry Kewell out on the left.

    Ange out.

What's aloisi saying there? And kossie too... Didn't deserve a three goal win? We got the bar twice and their keeper pulled out three spectacular saves.

I would just like to point out that with the absence of that Alex Wilkinson bloke we look a much better side and not only that we won.

    About ****ing time.

fk off Kossie you muppet. forwards playing safe get you bottom of the ladder as your career has proven. forwards need flair and not everything will come off.

Nah, flogs like Milligan and McKay can get called up while being not good enough or shit, the Beard should be in the squad ahead of either of them. Jimmy H before all of them though.

I'm not a fan of Troisi with Luongo, essentially playing 2 AMs in the middle, but apart from Bresh who is on his last legs do we have anybody else who can play a proper CM role? (Don't say McKay or you will be moved up to the top of my kill list)

It was always gonna be obvious that nerves were gonna play a big part, but they came back well.

    Who got MOTM?

    Luongo MOTM.

Antonis? We could even move Cahill back 10 years and have him play in midfield, making the late late runs into the box like he used to.

    Brilliant, love the little Indo.

Yeah Terry is a good shout, maybe a little bit raw for now but he will be the perfect foil in a couple of years, but by all means blood him now.

Not sold on Franjic either, I believe there are better RBs than him. Good on the attack but a bit of a liability in defence. Probably a tad biased but I'd like to see Chris Herd ahead of him.

Some more stats for Harper to choke on...

    ‏@OptaJason
Massimo Luongo made more tackles (8) and interceptions (7) than any other player on the pitch in #AUSvKUW. Machine. #AC2015 @Socceroos

    had $20 on Aussies 4-0

****ing corner wrecks it for me

Lucky sports bet had the money back if timmy scored

Standouts imo spiranovic, luongo and jedinak

Agreed about the standouts, chuck Behich in there as well, had a really good game in attack and defence.

The defending for Kuwaits goal is terrible
And a majority of our goals wouldn't have been scored against better defences
And a majority of our chances came from Kuwait handing us the ball although the way we defended was good, we had players positioned correctly
We shouldn't get ahead of ourselves, a lot of work is to be done to beat teams like Iran, Japan and South Korea to challenge for the Cup
