Sorry I didn't see this earlier, my brother has taken it off my hands.

As for your live sites query, I believe Wheeler Place was the plan (between Civic Theatre and The Clarendon) but yesterday afternoon whilst driving through Honeysuckle I noticed a massive screen set up out the front of The Dockyard.

Whats the set up like down there??

At the fan fests at the WC you could buy piss and grub and kick back and watch the game with a pile of other sponsor shit to keep you occupied like mini fields and shoot at goal things etc like you may see at HAL games. In between games they had musicians/DJs etc going

The price of food and grub was not great price wise Brazillian standards but not as much of a rort as you find at stadiums/events in this country so you could actually attend and not be violated in the wallet.

All in all was not a bad place to watch games

Wouldn't mind dropping in and checking it out. Am I gonna be able to grab a beer or two whilst there or not??

Dare say you would have to frequent the nearby licensed establishments for a brew MFKS. No way they would approve a liquor licence in an open area like that IMHO, especially so close to businesses doing the same. They wouldn't have signed off on such a request.

No kick abouts or DJs or anything, it's right in front of the dockyard etc so you can go buy grub and a beer from there, if you get there early enough you'll have a good seat in front of the screen at the dockyard. Plenty of room to set up your chair and esky if you bring your own booze. Or you could do what a group of guys did and bring down your own lounge.

I'll be a frequent viewer down there, might even take a rod and bait and have a cast too.

You're not wrong. It was horseshit. If the ref even wore red it would have been fine last night. There was one or two times tje Socceroos were fooled by the ref colours last night.

All refs need to wear grey, I've decided.

I have been a spira fan seemingly my whole life. I'm deadset the happiest guy that he is a regular, and a terrific performer, for our national team.

We shouldn't get ahead of ourselves, a lot of work is to be done to beat teams like Iran, Japan and South Korea to challenge for the Cup
FFS who cares? They can only play the team in front of them. Just enjoy the fact that we got to see the Socceroos score 4, at home, in a tournament that actually means something.

so if 5% of China watching the game (late Saturday afternoon there).....it's about 65M Chinese watching (just in China)........so almost 3 times the population of Australia!!! Crazy numbers........Must cost Toshiba, emirates, Epson and the others few $$$$ to put their signs up
