if 17,000 are sold and there's usually a few thousand who turn up and buy on the day that'll be a good crowd

Let's start brainstorming some chants for Palestine. I'll start:

    (Yellow Submarine)
We all live in an occupied territory
    An occupied territory
    An occupied territory

I like the versatility with that chant.

as jets fans we can easily change it to

We all support a shithouse football team
    A shithouse football team
    Etc

And would not miss a beat

Geez I hope that bogan element doesn't turn up thinking they are funny with their chants and cultural references.
Suffered the embarrassment of being in Japan once where bogan Aussies thought it was funny to make Pearl Harbour and Hiroshima jokes at the game.

Just shut up and enjoy the football hey.

Very devastated that I won't be able to go to this, an untimely water bill has left me short. Would of been a great game to watch

For all of their midfield flair Japan are really lacking up front. Yeah yeah they scored 4 goals but I just felt they were short at the point. They seemed to play one ball too many and want to pass the ball into the net.

They're very quick on the break but if you can limit them getting in behind I think you go along way to shutting them down.

Active support on both sides did well. Certainly no issues where we were seated in bay 10. 15000 seemed a bit short to me. Was the top teir of eastern stand full?

If that is a 15k crowd then the Jets bullshit us with their crowds.

The Eastern Stand was 80-90% full. The western stand was 80% full if you take out the media and cordoned off seats. There was also a few on the hill. I was expecting a 20k crowd.

Good thing is I think that Newy made a compelling case to hold a Socceroo match in the future. The turnout also would have said to the FFA clearly that they have to fix our Jets issues as the support is here. It just needs harnessing

I was in the back row of the Eastern Stand and it was packed. Getting into the ground took ages compared to a Jets game as well and my bag wasn't searched today, unlike at a Jets game.

If that was 15,000 then both the Jets and the Knights are professional fudgers of the crowd figures.

Based on crowds at the Jets (and knights on the TV) I would have been expecting 20,000 easily.

Geez, Japan are good to watch. I honestly can't see anyone but them winning the title again. So fast, so tenacious.
