Would be an awesome signing. We're more likely to go for that huge striker (forget his name) that used to/still does?? play for wycombe wanderers as our marquee. Get the egg ball fans coming to games.

One of the questions on the Jets Members survey was "what do you expect from the club"
What are people's expectations on performance next year?
- A-League (Grand final winners/premiers/Semis/Top 6/better than 10th)
FFA Cup (Winners/Semis/Quarter finals/Round 16/Round 32)
For me, I expect us to make Quarter Finals of FFA cup and Reach the Top 6 next year.

For those keen to look for potential foreign players I suggest u look on transfermarket.com, got to menu and look in the available section. More than enough quality players coming out if contract
Muppet Tinkler and co have treated us like shit due to their petty vendettas and their Moving Forward Bullshit
I am setting my expectations where they need to be to justify the level of shit we have endured and then the needless butthurt inflicted.
I expect us to win the HAL.
If they can achieve that then and ONLY then the hurt is worth while.
If they can't then the hurt has been needlessly inflicted by ****S as we would have been rebuilding anyway and could have done so without their slash and burn philosophy alienating people because of their ****ing EGOS
I honestly think we will struggle again next year but i will accept it if they once and for all sort out all the bullshit within the club.
-Tinks either goes away or starts running us like a decent HAL club. (pay on time, proper coaching and training, improved youth facilities/pathways)
-Stubbins gets his squad how he wants and builds a team that goes out every week and busts their asses off trying to win the game. I think finals football should be a minimum requirement to keep his job.
-No more massive turn over of players. Maybe 5-8 movements at the end of the season and 1-2 players brought in mid season if we have injuries.
Give me that next year and i'll probably still find something to whinge about... if i'm being honest.
Nope.
By saying we want to get to the quarters of the FFA cup you are saying to Stubbins that's its ok to get knocked out.
So then when we do get dusted in the first round he'll come out and say "we have achieved our goal before we had planned. Sure signs we are moving forward".
I'm with Member, win or get the **** out.
It's a salary capped league. If our aim isn't to win every year, the people in charge can **** off.
That question was worded horribly.
Many were IMO.
What do I expect?
I expect us to finish last again
What do I expect my club to aim for.
To win the ****ing thing everything year. Salary cap etc etc
If all Members were fair dinkum about this survey than the feedback for the club should be pretty bloody well damning on all fronts for the club. They probably don't take too much notice on Social media as they probably think...."oh that's just a minority". Once they get all the results in and tabulate all the data, just hope they are shitting bricks about the prospect of having less than 5,000 members. The thing is will it worry Tinkler, with him you just don't know whether that would concern him or whether that is what he actually wants!
Gave them a serve over man management, the price of beer (important!) my hatred of our initiation Knights strip (bring back the GOLD), the lies and the inept coaching.
Also said FFA 1/4 finals and top 6 finish
Tinks should sign van der vaart 👍
It's a survey, just a token members "feedback" gesture - you would be lucky to get a 10% response rate and much of the feedback, especially overly negative will be ignored.
You could put "I would like to buy Messi for the Jets with my own money" and there would be no response.
I've dealt with the membership team as part of the sub-committee and I don't get the impression they would ignore constructive feedback or negative feedback. They aren't oblivious to the what's gone on. The question is whether they are able to make changes and influence based on this feedback higher up the Jets organisational structure.
