It would be a crisis if I wanted a Kebapi which I know are awesome but I as a football supporter for years I would like to see the BIG GF.

seriously thou, this town is run by a bunch of gooses, Northern don't run the zone league, yes we know that but they should be able to organise the final game of local football in this town to be the NPL GF, week before should be 2hd GF, week before Zone GF's, minimal clashes.
All juniors should have been done and dusted, so you can build towards the final game, the pinnacle in the local league, the only choice to watch football you will have, is the NPL Grand Final....it might not change attendances to much, but not having a choice is shit, personally, i'll be at Pasadena watching the Tiggers play their semi in the ZPL.
Can they do it, will they do it, probably not, but that doesn't surprise me.......Northern are you listening

I don't think the scenario is that bad. You have NewFM GF weekend just passed, NPL this weekend coming and then ZPL the following weekend. To have the first 3 divisions on separate weekends is pretty good. I think you find it would not be that hard to do and organise so games are not clashing with one another.
Not exactly rocket science. Make use of night time Friday nights etc
You put NPL semis on same day as New FM GF and straight away you are taking people away from the NEW FM GF day.
Jets are no better either.
Last year they put trial game V Nix on at Magic Park same day as ZPL GF. I got to ZPL GF and leave 25 mins through first grade.
Another year they put a trial on in Sydney same day as NBN GF.
Complete cluster **** and just once again highlights Northerns failings.
NRL and AFL are able to organise 8 games a weekend etc and they don't clash with same times. How hard can it be to get the powers at Speers Point to organise this. After all it really should be the pinnacle of local Football and they should be organising it so the people can take in as much as possible
the last game still should be NPL GF, its not that hard is it.
Never said anything about different days, that would be near impossible, just different weekends, of course some semi's will clash but ZPL. 2HD then NBN doesn't get any better...

As for AFL they share some venues so its easier for them to schedule games at different times... 2-4 first grade AFL games might be played on No1 per weekend.
Football is the biggest participation sport in NNSW and Australia. Im sure the zones would love to push the seasons back ever further but we forget that here in Australia the sport that takes preference for all councils allocation of sporting fields particularly for junior use is cricket. How many junior fields have cricket pitches either between fields or on the field... it is even worse if its a turf pitch because the maintenance period comes forward even more... Our feds are doing the best they can, cricket is dead, councils should show preference to the majority instead of pandering to a lost ideal of cricket as the national sport of Australia.
You're having a laugh if you think they will use Speers Point for the grand final in the top divisions spread over different times. It's not a gala day for 10 year olds. Those facilities aren't designed to hold a crowd that are going to be with their mates getting rowdy sinking tinnies on the hill. Next thing you will want is viewers choice on fox sports!
Just let the NPL grand final be on it's own day and yeah maybe it would be better if it was the last grand final, but having ZPL last isn't too big of an issue - especially if the semis are on a different days.
No one said anything about holding GF's at Speers Point at the cluster **** that is that facility.

Full agree Speers Point facility it is not suitable for much more than 200-300 people attending which obviously makes it useless for NPL New FM and even Zone Leagues.
Not saying we should be having an U10's gala day either. But more so a celebration of Newy Football for a couple of weeks.
The current set up is a ****ing joke.
Even last year Northern had it set up better but somehow have gone backwards this year
