I think we are desperately lacking another goal scoring threat over a replacement LB. If we can't secure an Aust player like Taggs to replace Carney then I would be using the foreign spot to draft in a striker/winger.
Cowburn to me deserves a starting role at LB or DM. Might need to poach from another club.
Get some decent coin from Carney and Leaky G string and make a play for Rojas.
He is doing ok in Swiss country....prob happy to stay on loan there....

Agree with trying to poach some young players wanting first team football. Garrucio from City would be one for the defence but would be happy for Cowburn to be given a full contract. Someone like Clut who isn't getting many minutes at the Roar is who I would be chasing hard to come into the attacking third. Mahazi at the Victory looks a great young player who may get relegated to the bench when Valeri and co are all back fully fit.
Looks like Mahazi will be getting a fair bit of game time with the mystery cloud surrounding Valeri's unknown illness.
