Like it or not, old Devon Head isn't telling us anything we don't already know.

Our squad would have to be one of the lowest in terms of quality in the league.

I'm proud of the Jets for resisting signing Matt Simon.

    If that was an option.

I agree with millers coments recently about stability.

The jets cant afford another mass rebuild. A 5-6 player turnaround would be ideal. Keeper stocks are solid, the defence has a sound base, a new left back required.

Midfield is a problem area, so is upfront.

The visa positions will probably be the area where big changes occur

    Disagree

We are well short of standard in this comp.

No offence but no manager in the world is gonna be achieving shit with our squad.

Add 5-6 players and we may get up to manfully fighting for 7th.

We need about a dozen at end of season.

Anything less is not gonna cut it

    Absolutely.

I'd rather the club was unstable and in the top four than stable in Millers terms and contenders for the wooden spoon.

No one will ever begrudge anyone for taking care of their families and looking out for the best bottom line which, as a footballer with limited earning potential, is always going to be a big reason as to why players move on. What rankles is the bs that poured out over dec/jan. This mystery Qatari interest was obviously nothing.
The player managers have got you hook line and sinker. Like anyone else in society there is no reason why a footballer cannot retrain themselves or find some other type of employment when their career ends. Instead, these khunts cry foul because they believe they should only have to work fifteen years or so then retire before they turn 35.

It's a disgraceful attitude from the players and their managers and it's no wonder the fans feel completely disconnected from them.

It's Ok in their minds for the fans to work until they are seventy but not players.

No wonder these khunts are so ****ing useless. They have absolutely no idea.

Elitist attitudes from khunts that in a lot of cases need to wake up to themselves and be thankful they get to do what they enjoy for a living unlike a lot of people that are not so lucky.

Where is anyone going to find a dozen players to lift the quality and standard to finals quality? Better still how are we going to get them to come here with very little money to spend on them?

Good to see this poor squad get a result. Would 5-6 extra quality players take them backwards??

Some interesting squad choices for next week, nice for Miller to have some options to consider.

Does Kitto come back in for Cooper (I hope not!)
Does Noddy start? (If so at who's expense?)
Does Kanta take Watsons place on the bench? (Cause can't see Kanta ousting either Stevie U or Poljak on yesterdays performance).

If Noddy does start do we change formation? I suspect he will start one more game from the bench, he still tired fairly quickly and clearly isn't match fit. Could be looking for 60min from him against Welly.

Hmmmm Leonardo, Milos and Noddy on together. That has to create a few defensive headaches!

If it were me Nobby starts in behind Milos, Leonardo on the left and Cooper on the right (with mid game rotation of positions between these three). Alidovic gets dropped to the bench. Kanta or Poljak starts alongside Ugarkovic, with Kanta or Poljak on the bench instead of Watson. Back four remains as yesterday with Jackson on the bench, Birraz in goals with BK on the bench. Kitto gets remaining Bench spot in place of Pav.

i'd be very surprised if Alivodic was benched, he has been playing well and Miller trusts him. I think Morty and Leo will be interchanging until they get matchfit. I would say we leave the starting 11 exactly the same. Why change if it worked well, Brisbane play similar to Citeh don't they? Not great defence but plenty good on transition and counter?
