As someone who comes from outside the Newcastle football fraternity it never ceases to amaze me how insular & insecure the supporters are. You really need to try to handle criticism whether or not it is justified

Not surprised at all about this development, he should have stepped down (or stood down) at the end of last season. Heard from people in the know that Jaffas pre-season has been very ordinary with the senior squad only being finalised in just the last week or two. At this level you need a head coach to be 100%, not goig to write Jaffas off as they have a lot of quality in their squad but will be interesting to see if they can maintain the same standard they have maintained for the past 3 seasons.

any change in coach for that team will bring massive improvement, they might be excited about the change

I've not encounted that side of him, maybe you need to participate in the working environment that surrounds you ??
