Haha............ Mate after all this chat about cash I've had a chat to the Cooks Hill boys and seeing as though we are playing our NEWFM side this Saturday we're going to have a whip round, raffle and charity auction and all money raised we'll deliver in a novelty sized check to WB so you blokes can go out and buy a couple of marquee players!!!!!!

All jokes aside surely the lure of brand new facilities out your way should be bringing them in, in droves.........

We've kept the away sheds the same size, and just built bigger canteen facilities around it!

How are all the fields/playing surfaces looking, I drove past cookers today and it still looks a bit scrappy tbh. Warner's bay looks like it really could be a awesome place to play if it gets a mow.

Wow buddy you must need glasses...... The surface is mint. Our NEWFM boys played Adamstown NPL in a trial there last Thursday and the Adamstown boys were saying it was up there with their pitch. I must admit I'm spewing we have to wait till the second last round to get on at Nelson Bay, that pitch was perfect.

I've never smelt it there. Least of our worries anyway. Our Round 1 game has been transferred to Heaton Park.

Our pitch is looking unreal. I've driven past Barnsley's recently and it's looking good too. Charlestown's still has the cricket pitch unfortunately, but the rest of the field looks a treat. Can't comment on anyone else's.

Barnsley definitely looking the best it has in years. Hoping it holds up all season

Which field do we play on out there? The better looking one with the dugouts? or the Shitty ones near the canteen?

Stocko's fields are looking average. A lot worse then what I've seen it at this time of year in previous seasons. Plus side is they do a fair bit of work on it through the year so will come good.

Drove past Kotara Sth's pitch on the way to work today.

Looks pretty snazy compared the dustbowl it used to be.
