Maguire didn't play, another week away I think.
    Yes minors left........
Thought azzuri were going to pinch it in the end with fresh legs.... they hit the post/crossbar three times through the game.
Blonde curly haired #6 for valo? honking, passed it to no one, or over the sideline a lot, so not sure who you were watching. But #6 is from the central coast I believe.
U22 very physical game valo two sendoffs and lots of yellows.
U19 haT trick to one young bloke in first half had valo down 4-1 at HT
    First Grade 2-2
    U22 1-0
    U19 6-3
Full match reports on website later today.....

Good point but the truth I would think is much much more than a monthly meeting and helping out on match day. I know for a fact a number of clubs who invest a lot of time and money into their clubs and grounds and in the case of clubs like magic where there was and always is a team of committee and helpers when in construction mode. We should be careful not to rubbish hard working and progressive clubs. It is interesting though that a number of clubs who get their hands dirty have been most successful in the last few years. I think it would also be fair to say that massive cash injections into a club don't guarantee good club culture or a cabinet full of trophys. I think this years A-league champions are a perfect example for all clubs in Australia to follow.

That's what he promised Valo for the job I think, only brought three but, his two sons and a striker. Was a enjoyable win for CCB U19 yesterday. 6-3

Think a couple of valo boys might be jumping ship and coming to Azzuri.... so no biggy.... just abit of swappies.

Seriously I couldnt believe when CCB let this bloke coach, now I can't believe Valo would be so stupid

History repeats, there has been trouble were ever he goes , is it always the club?? Or might it be the man???

I imagine CCB would be glad to see him gone and the sons now maybe some other warners bay influences and the club might have a chance

Now they might give some 17's the opportunity they deserve

Do you seriously think that the clubs really worry about who coaches the 17's and 19's, there just happy someone's silly enough to do it for nothing. The NPL in promotion/relegation mode is only about the top 16 players who are all generally on retainer as is the coach.

Say 5k to coach for the year, 4 sessions a week for 26 weeks that's includes game day, equates to $48 per session, if session goes for three hours including travel then that's $16 per hour. The 16 year old kids at dominoes pizza get that for waving a sign at the lights.

So what you are saying is that clubs are happy to fork out $5k or more per season for someone to coach thier youth/19 with out really caring about who it is or what they bring to the team/club, just happy to get some fool to do it ???
    Maybe you are right
    Valo have just done it

What was I was really trying to express was that I don't think the NPL clubs care much about the development of 17 and 19's.

I was talking about the #6 which I wrote at HT. I thought he looked good first half but second not so much. Looked comfortable & mobile in the middle, happy to dictate play where he could and seems to be somewhat of a leader. Mind you, I was 50m away and judged that on 45 mins against a team that isn't going to reach any great heights this year. He probably stood out because of his do up top as well lol

I also said the Valo keeper made a bad mistake for the first CCB goal, don't know who he was though? The Valo goal was at the other end so didn't see what happened.

Valo keeper would of been Beyhan Irmarko, also from the Central Coast. Played reps down there for the last few years.
