Why? We cant judge till he's played a few and there's a greater chance of flopping at this club. I'll sit in the neutral camp ftm.

    Haven't checked this for accuracy.

Won the championship last season in Finland, qualifying for the Champions League. Played Europa League qualifiers last season.

That's a very decent standard of football compared to the HAL imo.

Second round qualifying for this year, I think. Previous season Europa qualifiers as borat said.

seeing that he was a regular and that he is known to Miller gives me some belief . My only concerns are its another deeper lying midfielder which will take up a foreigner spot (my hopes are he is a starter and adds the required qualities). Hopefully this new ownership is sorted soon and we know whether the Ledman group want to invest as we are definitely lacking some class in that attacking third/upfront, and not sure the Australian based players available are able to strengthen us.

i know we have Haliti available this year, but i still only consider him as someone to provide that fight as a substitute and not a starter.

i hope Miller and JDP have been given some indications from new owner on whether marquee spots will be available to explore

I reckon this bloke could play as a 10 given his highlights. At worst as a 8. Not the end of the world and I would think the $$ in Finland wouldn't be too great.

I think we'll see him mainly used on the right. I reckon he be used in the 8 spot if ugarkovic is out or suffers poor form

Both him and Ugarkovic as an 8 with Poljak holding - similar to Brisbane. Creativity will come from the wings.

If nothing else, we've got our penalty taker sorted.

Yeah he is not playing in a top League but at 27 I think we have got him at the perfect age. A player at his peak years, probably not presently where he was hoping his career would be at when he started his football career in his late teens but if he has the hunger and the drive, as we have seen with other "no names" like Broich, Berisha, Carrusca and Fornaroli etc. the A League is a good comp for overseas players to resurrect their careers in.
Either way, not getting carried away and not writing him off either.

Could be a very interesting signing..
Do we all remember the last bloke to come to the HAL after successful stints in Finland?

Juho "The Surgeon" Makela. That's right.
    OK

Tony Rallis player agent said on soccer stoppage time Daniel Alessi from wsw will join jets. Hes a rb/cb. Good cover. But rather we got a lb.

Alessi is an U20, so that's one more spot sorted
Life isn't the same without Con... but it can only improve without Tinks...

Was rated pretty highly when he made his debut at a young age. Was pretty solid. I don't know if it'd be much of an improvement on Cowburn now that he has a few games under his belt. Would allow him to start playing in his preferred position in the mids. But could find himself down the pecking order at this stage.
