Big winner on the day is anyone that got to visit the Garden Suburb canteen. A smorgasbord of tasty treats!
Has to be in the top 2 canteens in the comp (Suns just pip them though I reckon).

We were at Suburbs early in the season number one canteen hands down < suns only have one item .

Just had confirmation that New Lambton v Suns have been called off for all 3 grades.

I'm not sure the state of the ground, but it would be handy on days like this to try and play at least 1 grade to avoid catch ups over two nights.

Totally agree mate. We (and the Suns) made every attempt to get at least one game on, however it is not to be. Luckily there wont be a night game as we plan to play the fixture (like most that get washed out this weekend) on the free FFA Cup weekend.

Our coach sent a photo of the ground at 9:30 this morning with puddles over it. I live 200m up the road and it's been on and off since midnight. Not surprised really, but never like missing out.

New Lambton V Suns will be the Sunday as Alder Park is being used on the Saturday for junior matches.
