So at least 5 A-league clubs out (Possible 6) after round of 32.

Shit i am sick of hearing these guys on TV constantly rambling about "the magic of the cup" sound like a broken record anytime an NPL team does something half decent!

it's only the luck of the draw that saw us knocked out by A-League opposition

we're far more capable of embarrassing ourselves than the Coast or Adelaide

There is video on the webz somewhere of KB United playing Edgeworth at in front of a full Edgy Stadium in the 1980s. It was a National Cup competition.

Be great to see similar happen now.

I have been watching a lot of these games this year and i know it was spoken about last week but the condition of the pitch at Magic Park was well below par compared to other NPL teams around. Obviously conditions were not excellent and if it was an NPL match it probably would have been called off but I'm talking before kick off, the pitch looked patchy from the start. Why are our fields below par, is it that we just don't have the $$$ in Newcastle to improve or maintain the facilities?

I should add, absolutely no disrespect to Magic as a club, you guys always put on a great show when holding events.

He may go to an A League club. He is still good enough to play.

Absolutely sickening seeing a bloke like the Beard playing in a Smurfs shirt and we showed no interest to get him back

    Nice dive by Devon head

Still can't understand why he never got a penalty.

    Probably because he wasn't touched

Can't wait to we play these pricks and some one does a Kitto on him and lays him out

How did Simon stay on the field late on? Absolutely disgraceful conduct, even for an oxygen thief.

Kenny Sutcliffe and the Channel 9 sports team must be very excited about Cahill's first match for City.
