hey that's great
Perth Glory - 1.95
Draw - 3.35
Newcastle Jets - 3.45
Slobs
Not 100% sure (Didn't hear his name last night) but it sounded like Gary Phillips. Another 'Sydney' (Olympic) commentator.
Last time I saw him he was in a Sawtell Cafe (where he lives now) in mid July. He was shooin' the sh!t with Mike Cockerill
lol at this Tweet from ex-Shitny All-dem-pr!cks team mate Peter Katholos
Gary Phillips sounds like he's on helium...i can handle irritating voices when people know what they are talking about - Phillips does not!
Also was disappointed with Ribeiro when he came on the other night. Really looked lost.
Anyone else feel the same?
^ Too soon to judge, needs more minutes. Woukld like to see him given an opportunity and the confidence from coaching staff to start a game then make a call.
ryu looked pissed at him when he didn't play him the ball and ran it himself.
but in saying that, ryu gets pissed at most of his teammates on a regular occasion. seems like a massive whinger at most times.
OK
what are you, tiago's nan?
screams at defenders ffs
he's not there to be their mates. look at schmeichel in his heyday. scraping the barrel there, thomas
so he needs more protecting? your membership dues to the keepers' union must be up for renewal soon, surely?
he was barely touched ffs![]()
he mis-judged the cross, which cost us a point. he was poor this week. last week he was exceptional.
tbh, it shouldn't be a surprise, given his career to date. he's got a history of clangers - hopefully he can iron it out as his career progresses.
we will loose
Difference between Schmeichel and BK though is that Schmeichel would make the amazing save, scream at his defenders then keep being amazing. BK on the other hand would be a statue, concede the goal, chuck a tantrum and boot the ball back in to the net, scream at the defenders and then continue to be BK and not Schmeichel.
Agree with you on Birra and his history of clangers... was it the U19 Asian Cup or something a few years ago where he dropped a massive clanger? To be fair to him though, he has spent his entire career (until Newy) on the bench so has never had an extended run in goals to get better. Hopefully he gets that with us.
