Perth have once again found some more loose change down the back of the couch to bring in Joel Chianese.

Not the greatest issue for the rest of the comp but with Harold Keogh and Chianese they now have 3 blokes who score everytime they play us.

Can't see our abysmal record with Perth improving

So long as it stays the same against Brisbane, Victory and the Gypos (from last season obvs) I can handle not winning against Perth until Judgement Day.

I'll be surprised if he even gets onto the park given the talent on their books in his position.
He would have been a cheap option to them just in case one of their stars gets injured or needs a rest.

Signed on an NYL pro contract. Interesting he didn't stick around knowing we needed 3 x u20 players this year

Did we give him that choice or was he told he wasn't part of our plans though?

It's hard to know with players like Crowley if he's going to be the next Taggart or the next Naidovski. He had made nine appearances and didn't score for the Jets and though it might seem cruel I think that is more than enough opportunities for someone that's supposed to be a goal scorer.

If he does go on and manage to be successful I still think the club has done OK to let him go or not try and win his signature.

My guess is that Miller told Crowley he would not be considered or Crowley thought he had limited prospects. Otherwise why else would you leave if you knew there were 3 u20 contracts up for grabs.

At the moment its looks likely we will sign Bymora to the last u20. I am not sure he is any better or worse than Crowley.

He started one of those games and played 90 minutes. Missed an absolute sitter. The other 8 he got a little over 10 minutes per game. I am not sure that's an overly lengthy time to base someone's ability on. Certainly think he showed more than Pav ever has.

Or his thinking, hell look at the melbourne setup and who can be training with, facilities etc and wants to push career that way... as he probably wouldnt have played much this year with us anyways.

Been away for a few days, not sure if this has came up elsewhere.

It's f'ing criminal that Jimmy is returning to the A-League and it's not with us.

I was a bit worried when someone quoted Lawrie as saying there wasn't money for Holland in our current squad budget - that to me implies we are running on an oily rag for yet another season

Or that we are close to the cap limit?

    This.

We need to remove some of the highly over paid players (BK!!) and get some fresh blood, while maintaining the core group.
