If the rain keeps up, chances are slim to none.

How is Carrington? Just as wet?
Carrington is the best its been in years... we actually have grass this year
damp in one area we suspect due to leak in the sprinkler system for the cricket pitch

can we get the covers out?
such a stop start pre season with the weather and teams pulling out last minute on trials

We just inspected the pitch, its closed.

I don't remember the field holding this much water for so long. The carpark end is a swamp and there is several other large areas with standing water.

The main pitch is knee deep grass as it hasn't been able to be mowed for three weeks due to the weather. Its going to be ugly when it gets mowed with heaps of mulch all over the place.

A few results lately to make this comp look a bit tighter...
Westlakes tested Suns and lost in a tight one, that's a good effort considering Suns team and their efforts so far.
Barnsley beat Uni ZPL 2-0 in FFA Cup.
    Wallsend beat Cooks Hill.
Bero beat Cardiff ZPL in a trial.

4 teams that weren't in most peoples top 4's all getting good results one week out from kick off.

not much Forecast for Friday & Saturday. Just got to pray that the sun and wind come out tomorrow. At Cookers we've organised to get all the lads to get to the Ath Track with a sponge Saturday morning!!!!

I read they're expecting 90km/h winds. Will that be enough?

Wind does nothing to dry grounds when it blows in 100mm of rain

Not sure where you are getting your forecast from.
Everything I have seen is saying 80% chance of 20-40mm today, Friday overcast with 40% chance of 3-5mm and Saturday is fine.

So long as we don't get to much rain today most grounds should cope I think.
