Would have been interesting to see how Ernie would have dealt with the dual ego of Hoole and his agent.

Did you read this article ? http://dailyfootballshow.com/if-i-ca...oos-ambitions/

Hoole's scored one goal and he's talking about getting called up for the Socceroos world cup campaign - the blokes a nut job. He's barely good enough to play in the a-league.

Club confirm Cowburn was injured at Wednesday's training. Sounds like Clut's tackle!!

He's got two or 3 goals already same with assists. (Not praising him)

If Hoole is Socceroo material then that says more about the lack of quality we have to choose from.

The way hoole and his management carry on you'd think he's wrapped up the Johnny Warren Medal, Golden Boot and is sorting through offers from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Arnold got rid of him for a reason. Hoole is skilled but he is weak as piss mentally and easily persuaded / influenced both off and on the park.

Hoole scored a worldy against Roar last season....so what?

He is not consistent nor has he showed any maturity or ability under pressure.

He is a flat track bully who makes hay whilst the sun shines. He has never grabbed a game by the scruff of the neck.

He at the Jets we get the spoon
He leaves we go up to 8th

He goes to Sydney who were grand finalists and he drags them to 7th. He ****s off and they win the comp

Proof is in the way his teams go with and without him

Been trying to think of players (Aussie not Visa) who could come in and strengthen the current squad who are not currently getting the game time they probably could be. Melb City seems to be the place to be looking at picking up players in either Jan or next season. Kilkenny seems out of favour there and would be wayyy more value for us than the likes of Brown. Tongyik last season I thought was great for a youngster too and would be an upgrade on Boogaard whilst costing less money. I saw the City youth team beat Victory 9-2 last week. Surely there are one or two future Champness types in that squad that could be tempted with game time. I could not believe Bratten was not starting every game for them either but he was back in the first 11 last night and IMO was the best on ground. Id be happy with the Jets chucking big coin at him.

Remember the good old days when blokes on here wanted to sign Karem Bulut?

    Life was simpler back then.
