I know this sounds a bit reactionary. But with Uga gone and Lawrie still here, I genuinely can't think of many reasons to follow the Jets anymore. There's still a couple of the boys that I have respect for within the playing group, but mostly it's guys that I don't really care for. The coaching staff come and go so quickly these days that I can't really care about them anymore. The owner and CEO can fark right off. They did get rid of the red and blue nonsense, which was a great move IMO. Jetman is cool I guess, he does flips. The kids running around at halftime is still probably the best football I get to watch every other week, hopefully they still get to play with Covid regulations.
I never minding losing most weeks and having basket-case owners when we at least had the F3 derby to look forward too. Nowadays they are basically all former teammates anyway, it's brave to even call it a rivalry anymore. Don't even get me started on our CEO organising crappy PR stunts with the opposition each year like an uncool dad trying to be hip and happening.
Can someone start a thread with lists of positives from the club. I don't suspect it will be very long, but there could be something in there to keep us around a bit longer.
