You have no idea how Hexham Park played after rain a couple of weeks earlier against Mayfield, so your opinion is irrelevant.

I know everything about that weekend and I also know it was NF’s mistake that teams and referees turned up there on the Sunday.

You are the cry baby because weeks later you continue to sook about a game that was rightfully rescheduled, and is going to be replayed on a better surface. You should be happy for that and that you didn’t get injuries on a rubbish pitch.

The way members of your club carried themselves on socials was embarrassing. Cry babies.
As i have said previously it is what it is, game was called off. you can spin it how you like, i don't really care, i was having a bit of banter and you took the bait.....

You are correct it was the powers that be who still sent the refs and the opposition to the ground, but they still have questioned why it was off?

good bye, see you in tarro, bring some tissues for me please......

Not yet, good results against the bottom sides doesn't give you success, getting a few players back from injury has made a difference, see how we are sitting in a couple of weeks.

With the season halfway through and I am bored of hearing about waterlogged/not waterlogged pitches. I thought I would jot down my opinions so far.

Swansea - Doing better than I expected and coping well without Maguire, looks like McMaster has filled his boots.
Mayfield - Surprise of the season. Well organised at the back, keeping clean sheets and this has produced a confidence that they compete and make finals, dare say even the GF.
Suns - Probably where most people expected comfortably in the top 4, but seem to somehow gone under the radar.
Dudley - In the top 4 but have been far from convincing, need to improve their consistency if they are going to challenge.
Cardiff - Upturn in results after a extremely poor start to the season. They are the current form team and chasing Dudley hard for 4th spot.
Warners Bay - Unknown coming back in after missing last season and have been very competitive in all their games, they could be the dark horse everyone needs to watch out for.
Azzuri - Underwhelming so far, I expected more from them but some mixed results has them in 6th. I am sure they will be confident of putting together a run of results and getting back into the top 4 where they expect to be.
Beresfield - Caused the biggest upset of the season but generally what was expected from them toward the bottom with a couple of wins.
Kotara - I had them in my bottom 3 and that's where they sit. Will be hoping to improve and producing a better second half of the season, 2 more wins and they win be happy.
Cooks Hill - Poor defensively all season but fun to watch going forward. But this all results in finishing bottom. The good news is they score goals, so if they can just tighten up at the back they win get a few more positive results.

Top 3 separated by a point, 6 points between 4th and 9th should mean plenty to play for and an exciting second half to the season.

    Round 9 predictions

Cardiff v Swansea. Cardiff in form and Swansea got away with a win over Cooks Hill.
    3-1 Cardiff

Azzuri v Beresfield. Azzuri will be desperate and face one the bottom teams. Easy win for Azzuri
    3 - 0 Azzuri

Mayfield v Suns. Both in the top four and wont want to lose. Both teams settle for a point.
    1-1 draw.

Cooks Hill v Dudley. Cooks Hill to score but Dudley should have to much.
    4-1 Dudley.

Kotara v Warners Bay. Kotara have shown improvement and will be competitive. Warners Bay have been involved in close games all season.
    2-1 Warners Bay.

"Former Top Tier Towns" Derby should be a ripper. Sea Shanty Warriors top of the table versus a resurgent Covid Cup Winners.

Just hope Hexham Hellas dont do the pitch inspection for these two

Bit of rain last night, no way the "Hexham mouth pieces" are getting on their pitch this weekend!

Also heard Mayfield have undertaken some alternative training this week learning some self defence techniques.

Heard they will be playing it regardless because of their old boys day. Whether it is at Hexham or not is a different story
