I was thinking more of a COVIDSafe issue having played Swansea last week and with their match being called off due to players from central coast I would have imagined they would be close contacts. Personally I think Northern should have just called everything off this weekend.
Azzuri v Dudley 1-2
Cooks Hill V Cardiff 0-3
Beresfield v Swansea 0-4
Warner’s Bay v Suns 1-3
Kotara v Mayfield 0-3
Azzurri 1-2 Dudley
Cooks Hill 1-2 Cardiff
Bero 0-3 Swansea
Warners Bay 1- 3 Suns
Kotara 1-2 Mayfield
Kinda frustrating considering juniors/all age/35s/womens are off this weekend with school holidays and another field couldn't be found to play on.
They probably knew they were gonna be called off at Hexham mid week so you'd at least hope they made an attempt to move grounds.

Probably a question for somebody in the know. From the outside though I don’t feel it’s odd a pitch built on a swamp is washed out when games in town are good to go after the rain we’ve copped this week.
Frustrating not to play no doubt. But not sure any other club in Newcastle is forced to look for an alternate ground to their home ground when there is wet weather about,

Then if it was only the wet stopping the game then I could be played Tues or Wed it will be dry then or will the injuries etc affect that idea.
Is Smith park any closer to getting work cause you can’t have a club in ZPL with no home ground and the alternate ground washes apparently if you think about rain. The actual pitch at Smith park looks decent
Had dinner with the wife at hexham bowling club tonight do yourself a favour and check it out highly recommend the chinese feed there, but anywho much to the wifes digust I just had to go and have a look at the pitch was kind of expecting it to be dry but fortunately to hamilton's credit the pitch was still sopping wet zero chance of 3 games being played there today and probably for another few days. Either a lot of rain happened there or genuinely there is a big issue with the way that pitch handles water or holds water im no expert but id say being so close to the hunter river plays a big role in this.
