First one was a last man challenge which is why I’m assuming he got the red (from the refs perspective). For mine it was a foul, maybe a yellow. Strong mitigating factor was that the defender got the ball first, then tripped the attacker. Attacker stumbled, but didn’t go to ground.
If defender doesn’t trip attacker would he have regained possession? Maybe in my eyes, but in a far less dangerous goal scoring position.
Foul? Yes
Yellow? Maybe
Red? Not in my eyes.

To be fair to the young lad from Kahibah though, he took it well.

Second one, clear red, dangerous with the potential to cause injury.

U15s though….BelSwans player tried to take the South Cardiff GK out with an elbow to the head. 20 metres out of play, just before full time.
