What is going on over at the green tigers? They are usually one of the competitions big hitters but this season they look an absolute shambles.
Only going off yesterday they are lacking some quality up front. Defensively they did the job but they just didn?t seem to have a plan to break down our defense.
Maybe people unavailable but that does apply to everyone.
Personal opinion as an outsider but like all of us I know a few of the players. It takes time to build a culture and no time to ruin it. This year is a product of last year in my opinion, and it’s going to take time to rebuild that compact and disciplined core at Mayfield.
They’re ok, but lacking a bit of depth and have had some critical injuries. Injuries happen to all clubs, but when your depth is depleted they hurt more.
They’ll be back. They’re a good club with a good committee and culture wins out in the end.
Anyone who saw them last year would have been very reluctant about joining them. Honestly, if you saw them last year and were thinking of a new club would you have been inclined to go there? I hate that style of management, and I don’t think it’s effective.
That’s gonna take some time to overcome and rebuild. Their former coach is back and has the skills to do it - he’s proven that in the past
