Love the chalk board feature on fourfourtwo.

    http://au.fourfourtwo.com/aleague_ch...4&match=453792

    Successful crosses = zero
Caravella had a MUCH better second half with the ball. 5 stray passes in the first half, only 1 in the second.
What exactly are our holding midfielders doing? Two intercepts by Zadko, none by Caravella. What exactly are they holding?
Birra had what appears to be FIVE successful long hoofs. 15 missed the target.
Neville passed inside and backwards a lot more than Gallaway.

That being said, given he's missed the last two week, hopefully GvE decides that's enough and recalls him for Mitchell. Or Ritter plays instead of Mitchell. Eitherway, Mitchell out.
He was right to give him a spray. It was a stupid decision. So regz is punished for being passionate and not wanting to lose??? Ok one week off ill give Gaz a bit of a break there but 2 weeks **** me dead what a joke. The team and results are more important than Gary's feelings

What crap, did you see the spray Abbas gave all and sundry the other week. At least Farina had the man mangement skills to get it sorted and have him on the field the following week. This whole Regz episode says more about the muppet coach and his lack of people skills than Regz.

GVE is so full of himself it is frigg'n sickening. He actually thinks he is a good manager with his one season wonder. Sadly for the muppet there is readily available statistics that would suggest otherwise.

    Rant over.

Caravella IS NOT a holding midfielder.
    Pretty simple.
He needs to be in behind.

Punishment, yes. But would you be taken off your job and stuck in the closet?

Only a poor manager would punish you at work by taking you off what ever your working on and sticking you in the back ground, particularly if you are the best option. There are better ways to punish.

Effectively GVE's punishment here punishes the player, the club, his team mates and the fans.

I've been told by all my coaches. He wants us to be pissed off if we don't make the squad. He wants us to fight for a spot. being angry you aren't in the starting 11 means you care and are passionate.

To be honest, jets were very ordinary tonight and werent even close to the wanderers! However i must give credit to the wanderers crowd, they were brilliant!!
Anyway, after a torture 4 months, I truely believe Gary is not up to aleague level standard as a coach! Why?
    1. Today's possession was something like 60-40 in our fav, however we were never in the game or threatening?? Does not make sense! Why Gary?
    2. The player who has the most touches in our side is not the attacking midfield (griff) but Biris!! Why Gary??
    3. Neville can't defend.. Or pass .. Or play!! Why start him Gary when there are better options!
    4. Why play zenon in a deep midfield screening role with ruben, when zenon got player of the year with adelaide last year as an attacking midfielder. Also he looked very underdone. Should have kept brillante who has done a good job! Why Gary!!!
    5. I also have issues with ruben playing in central midfield. He played for Aust at right back.. He works hard and give 100%, but has NOT got the natural ability to play central and distribute the ball etc ..Why Gary!!
    6. Mitchell first option is always sidewards or backward to the keeper. Is that possession football!! Why Gary??
7 Galloway!! Try's, defends ok but can't pass
    8. Ryan Griffo as a #10, u must be joking!! Why Gary?? He is a wide player if that!! Ordinary this year except for penalties!!
    8. Have concerns about Hesky! Was at the game and watched him closely tonight and he barely raised a sweat. Stands still up high and never drops between the lines to give us an options to go forward. Even on set peices, he is no where!! Why Gary!
    8. Why do the wing backs push so high when we try play out from the back, giving our 2 centre halves no options. Then all of a sudden we loose the ball then get caught out!!! Have u not you seen the past 4 games Gary!! Why Gary???
    8. As a past coach (coached my sons rep side), have a B licence, and a passionate spectator for the past 25+ years of Newcastle football, I'm getting more frustrated at the lack of understanding, structure, unity and imagination of the team. Players looked scared to play!! Finally, why Gary! I do not understand your team selections over that past 4 wks, we talk about high press-possession based football = definitely not , general play (boring - obvious) and players looking lost!! Why Gary?? And do not blame the players!!!

This is A league no ?...surely if Reagan has fvcked up the club should fine him and as a club we all move on. This immature attitude is startin to wear thin even on the most hardened GVE fans I would imagine, but then goin by some of the comments ...maybe not.

Pretty crappy game. Could have been a draw on another day, but there are still some big issues that have been around all season that still haven't been fixed.

Wanderers are a strong side at the moment, no question about that, but I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Heskey had put that one away in the first half. They have only lost 1 game since 9/12/12, but they've also only been scored against first two times (1 loss and 1 win). tbh their defence is not as solid as it seems either, we exposed them a few times tonight with some pretty simple passages of play. What has improved out of sight is their attack, they look like a completely different team from the one early in the season.

Hey idiot, did you hear about how Farina has benched Culina this weekend because of dissent? Great point you make there.

Lets see if Culina is dropped for a week or banished to youth for eternity.

WSW look the same to me. What is different about them now is all those chances they have been creating are going in now.

Ali did play the following week, who made mention of Culina ????.

Anyways our pretend coach is at least consistent in some areas. Continues to select shite like Neville and Mitchell and he loses more games than he wins.

    Personal highlights:

    - Meeting MFKS
    - The Fist
    - The Asian women of Sydney omgyellowfever
    - Leagues club, ffs, nightmare of a place
    - Campbelltown stadium. Makes Hunter Stadium look like it has a running track with how close the pitch is.
    - Wanderers crowd. Best I have personally witnessed in the A-League, probably close to Victory.
    - The RBB ultra ladz who tried to discretely scout out the away bay by turning up after half-time on the Non-Alcohol End in a large group all wearing black polos + trainers. Hatamoto had their addresses, bank account details and health care numbers within 5 seconds
