Reading this thread and the ZL1 threads and from what I?ve heard around town it sounds like quite a few fringe/reserve grade NPL players have signed for clubs throughout the divisions - in this comp Toronto, West Wallsend, Singleton, South Cardiff I have heard have all picked up signings from NPL.

Seems to be more this season than others in my opinion

Is it because:
- promotion makes the lower divisions more attractive to play in (playing for something more than just winning)?

- NPL is too much commitment? (9-10 months of the year 3 nights a week)

- there?s more decent players these days? ( I think the junior systems these days is producing more decent players but not players good enough to go onto higher levels)

Keen to hear if other people have also noticed and if they agree or not
