To much passion there to be finished. A few changes needed no doubt but they will be back.
The side that the Suns fielded last night is a far cry from the sides of the ?glory days? it looked like they were missing 5-6 from their best 11. They need an injection of youth to mix with all that experience.
We all thought once Dudley went up the Suns would be close behind. Maybe not
Good that you can see the funny side of it but the reality is that Croatia defeated you both times during the season, the second game was a demolition and the Suns finished 11 points behind the runaway Premiers.
In the Finals you lost both games and exited with barely a whimper in defending your title.
Lol just admit you guys weren't good enough and lacked hunger to give the Finals a real shake.
Woo up Stopper? from all reports, the Suns had 8 starting first graders out. No team is winning under this much sufferance.

Whilst this is true I think you may find a good few of those 8 have probably played their final match for the Suns. It definitely feels like the end of an era.

It was 8 points not 11. Still a very convincing outcome and Croatia are deservedly champions.
I don?t think hunger was the problem. No Pepper, Kantarovski, Aiden Palozzi, Bozanovski, Foteff.
Take those out of any side and it?s a battle. There were a few kids on the park last night for the Suns, and they will be better for the experience, but they are not at the same level as the aforementioned players.
While the Suns core group has been around a while they have good depth with 4 full teams across the grades, 3 of which made the finals, and they will be back. They did still finish second in the league to a very strong Croatia team, so writing them off is, at best, premature.
Students v Kotara this weekend. Similar styles and good football to watch. They can battle it out to see who gets the opportunity to pull off the most unlikely of upsets in the GF.

Apologies to everyone, my bad as yes it was only 8 points not 11.
Will add though that Croatia throughout the season hardly ever had it's full strongest starting XI due to injuries, suspensions or unavailability.
