Find this hard to believe, more likely West Wallsend's Reserve grade team. Report has probably come from from someone at Rutherford. 'Look who we beat, without knowing who they played'. Stranger things have happened I guess.

Not sure if this is serious or not but hard to knock any kind of professional athlete playing in zone league. Thr last I heard was they had a big falling out at the club, only 6 players from last years squad returning.

My mail was he struggled to play first grade last year at Stockton, reserves at times. Stockton struggled last year, so if he struggled to play first grade he won be a big scalp as suggested. Maybe just a big scalp for Rutherford who are trying to build. The term 'International ' for me means they have played for the National team. I could be wrong but I doubt a International player would be playing Zone League 3
So Charlestown like to do things quietly, big deal. They probably have recruited well, But have decided to do it their way.
Not every club has to be like Rutherford with their World Cup winners from Afghanistan, Or garden suburbs with their heroes coming from the NPL , Or Merewether with their thousand new players , coaches and toilet cleaners.
Just because some clubs don't post, that doesn't mean they won't be quietly doing their recruiting.

Agree, most clubs just using anyone they can get to do their socials... 99% sure none would be getting paid a dollar for it.
I wouldn?t say they?re winning the social media game, that would have to be Maitland jnrs for me. Well done to them being a new club and putting in the effort. I have to say merewether United or Fletcher have to be getting promoted this year, the comp couldn?t be easier.
