    swansea 4 - 0 tingera.

Only getting around 15 to training for 3 teams at the moment for tingera. A bit worrying.

Going from 2 teams to 3 and having no junior sides to grab players from was never going to be easy.

Im not the manager but anybody that has left it a bit late and wants a team its a great club with a good bunch of blokes so let me know if your interested and im sure you'd be welcome.

I thought tingira joined with valentine so they did have access to juniors?

1st place & grand final winners should have got promoted, was wrong that 2nd (and not in grand final at all) got taken up to begin with IMO. should have copied rules of the a-league for getting into the acl.

I don't think I broke Foz law saying that, but if I did feel free to mod snip
    OK

Correct me if im wrong but didnt belmont go up because they wrote a letter to the districts saying that since they have joined with phoenix they have a strong junior base to draw from
If so the same option should of been given to all teams in the comp esp the grand final winners as they have had a genuine third grade for a few years

They went up because the finished 2nd in ZL2 last year and when Merewether Advance asked to come down to ZL2 they were the 1st team asked to take Merewethers spot and they accepeted.

we understand that. what we don't understand is why they were first asked when, if going by the Australian sport setup at all, the grand final winners weren't asked (especially seeing as the grand final winners had let their intentions known they were keen to get promoted for years).
    OK

perhaps coming second in the league was viewed by the federation as more likely to be competitive over the course of the season rather than come good in the finals. not saying the grand final win isn't important however, the australian sport setup is far different from the world football setup in the fact they actually have play-offs...it would be a never ending argument to decide which one is more important to be in-line with.

Im only asking because I have heard from a few sources that are on club committees that they wrote a letter to districts saying they have a strong junior base etc and found it odd that they now are asking for new players and only getting 15 to training.

if based on on feild results
    belmont-finished tied first with terrace
westlakes-1 point behind in third, gf winners, best defence, second best goal difference 1 behind terrace, played belmont 4 times including finals for 3 wins and a draw.

in the end it doesnt matter westlakes will be competitive and will push for promotion again this year

Could be a ploy Bon to keep it quite and have it as a "last minute surprise". Haha
Might have to go back to the source of the rumor and see whether I can get anymore out of them. Haha

Im unsure maybe all the kids that dont make the cut in the phonex nbn teams will be on there way over shortly?

10 players at training tonight. any other teams have vacances for a switch this late?

does any1 have a contact for kotara.. are they full?

once again a really top effort form the stockton boys , score was bit dissapointing but with the spead of there 3 boys up front turned 3 mistakes into goals.

Terrace seem to have had a good pre season and good state cup result.
Will they be team to push suburbs ?

Maybe but that result in the reserve grade game may suggest they are lacking a little depth
