Agree. It's not our local refs who have made these law changes re tape on socks etc. It has been mandated by FIFA and referees in local jurisdictions throughout the world have been instructed to ensure the new rules are applied. FFS all you whingers, go out and buy the correct tape (or tapes) before your match so the officials can concentrate on officiating football. I'm sure they don't enjoy chatting players unnecessarily about incorrect attire/kit during warm ups. Grow up and take some responsibility and comply with what FIFA has made law. Give the refs a break.

after playing alot of soccer as a junior. an 8 or so year absence and i was genuinely unaware to all this. so when i ask questions im actually wanting to no things. not being a smartarse or having a go at any refs. they dont set the rules.

after playing yesterday with the refs wearing red/orange shirts - I'd be fuming if they wore that when a team was wearing orange also.

Mate we are just saying that if refs wanna enforce stupid rules like tape being the same as your socks then surely they can wear a neutral colour.
That being said I'm the first to admit that kotara probably controlled the game better although Stockton took their chances well. All in all a fair result.

And Im sure they would have wore a neutral colour had kotara complained ( since im pretty sure stockton would only wanna pass the ball to a blue colour). Sounds like one club having a cry at a small thing ( considering the 1st thing we heard from anyone from stockton was this massive travisty of justice and not a actual match report)

    Whipe ya chin mate

And just so you know kotara bench and many players on the field made mention to the officials on the night and were dismissed. So obviously it was affecting more than just one team. I'm all for supporting the refs and doing their jobs but when you try and go about things and doing them the right way and the refs respond with mocking tones and smart ass comments it's kind of annoying considering we are paying them. Some of them definately have a complex when it comes to being approached and I GUARANTEE I'm not the only one that has found this.

Well done kotara tho. At no point has any of us taken anything away from kotara. Merely discussing our opinions on an open forum which I thought this was for. Not bagging and slagging people comments and opinions like you have come on and done.

    wtf?

i do agree with the point, gkeepers, refs, bboys, canteen people need to be in differing colours from both teams. Saves excuses later.

Mayfield V Barnsley was a pretty good hit out in my opinion. honestly thought game could have gone either way. Mayfield took their chances mid way thru the second half.

Yes serious results saw the Muswellbrook game. but not the Bero but as I know a lot of the Bero I was told by them.
As for full strength opponents I know nothing about both teams so can't comment on that.
