He was told that that was just not the way things were done at NBN level. Young Ireland was fuming but my understanding is that a compromise was reached between coaching staff and the young shot stopper. Apparently Ireland has agreed to do his best in general goal keeping duties within general play but has flatly refused to take any more goal kicks. Due to his evident talent between the sticks, the Jaffa’s coaching staff has agreed to allow any burly defender to take goal kicks to ensure the ball is well and truly hoofed up the pitch. I hope this clears up any confusion about Jaffa’s and their goal kicks.
I don't know what's funnier suggesting all NBN teams play hoof ball or suggesting League 1 sides don't

haha those player profiles in the Jaffas program are a pisstake, someone else writes them. Ireland has a recurring knee injury, he can kick a ball 70 yards easily, very good delivery in general, just lets someone else take goal kicks so he doesnt risk his knee

injuries have taken their toll, understandable that the coaches are looking to make some more signings. two more injuries to first grade on the weekend, to add to the already ridiculously long list.

everyone gets their chance to secure a starting spot, im sure the coaches at every other club are just as hopeful that their players dont "crack the shits"

    Anyways, Ive had my say.

    Big games this weekend

    Lakes v Phoenix
    Olympic v Magic
Don't understand what all the fuss is about over a player who would struggle for a spot at any club

I hear that certain players are running the show at Lambton and not the head coach? Has anybody heard similar?

Heard that this week. Rumour I heard was one player challenged the coach in front of the rest of the team when announced he was on the bench.

just rumours boys, obviously nobody wants to be on the bench, but the coaches are all pretty approachable, no need to in fighting at the Jaffas. We dont have enough players fit to be benching lads anyway haha

i think a couple of blokes have changed clubs, not any bad blood though- just had mates/thought theyd be happier at another club. fair enough, not everyone works out at every club.
