Is that a case of wallsend being that good or terrace being that bad?
Can't remember terrace being that bad in ressies last year.
Only gonna get worse next year if they get promoted again.
They were pretty poor when I watched out reserve grade boys (stocko) towel them up in reserve grade trial. With us being in ZL3 and seeing our team having not too much playing experience with each other start rolling over the top of them you could see they were in for a long year. Sad to say I think there is a large gap in quality from first to reserve gradeOriginally Posted by true waterboy
Judging by our trials this year i think there is a massive jump in ressies comps between the zone districts. not much of a difference in first grade.
seems like the biggest step in divisions is the quality of depth in players across the squad.

Mat talk to jimmy about reserves re the quality of finishing from wallsend in reserves well and truly above reserve grade level , and after wallsends finishing in 1sts maybe there should b some changes. Terrace rez cant be that bad they have won a couple.

No mate, own goal from a very hard hit corner. Couldnt tell from where i was if it was headn in of the boot or the deflection made the difference
Wallsend dominated most of the 1st half. What happened 2nd?
Pretty well the same as 1st , tez had 2 clear 1v1 misses ( missed the goals all together) and wallsend butchered a 1v1 ,striker opted to pass and not shoot. Most wallsend shooting was done from outside the box in 2nd half
All credit to wallsend in reserve grade very very clinical played great football, we raymond terrace were missing 2 first graders and 3-4 reserve graders but not rrally an excuse,

1st 3-0 gardo- score didnt reflect the game but kudos to garden suburbs for the win.. for mine garden suburbs should of been reduced to 10 men in first half.. poor retaliationn to a challenge, kickng our striker whilst he wwas on the ground.. what was disappointing was the ref was only person at the ground who didnt see it.. was a few funny calls by the officials both ways, but at least we had them...
It's always hard to lose like that but I can honestly say and more then 90% of people who watched the game would agree with me Suburb deserved the win with Nelson Bay keeper having a blinder on another day it could have 5+ to Suburb
