Edden Oval never belonged to New Lambton. They played there yes, but it has never belonged to anyone but the NCC.
Also showing no inkling for promotion is wrong. They won it and got denied by criteria in 2002 and got pipped by goal difference in 2003. Also ran second in 2007. Not really a club who showed no inkling for promotion.

good question, not sure but I know they payed out some descent dollars this year, may be that has something to do with it, players not performing but getting paid anyway, plus they have a few older players there, gumprecht, brown, mathews are all into their late thirties plus Burt who is 40, I'm sure they will come good soon as they have a descent roster.

The piglet stated they have a decent team and wondering if anyone had any thoughts on why they were under performing. I am not sure if your suggesting they have an under-performing team or they are poor quality team. you started off saying something almost profound one would say, then lost your direction. Would like to hear your thoughts a little more clearly.
In regards to the piglets question, i would suggest that the problem are coming from the gaffer. Usually when a team looks good on paper and is not getting results it is because the gaffer can't get the best out of them. Could be tactics, poor training, man management etc. Maybe someone with affiliation with lakes could shed some light on this?
i think that german fella has been a real disappointment, does anyone agree/disagree? From what ive seen of him he has been very quiet, considering he was meant to be their player to watch this season.
